quite nice!

doesn’t the actual balrog have a fiery whip in the lord of the rings though?

That’s one cool Balrog. Especially the color rendered one

Really amazing job with the texturing !

Very nice work going on here. Have I seen this in more detail posted else where?

Wow! Fantastic work!

Any chance of a quick run through of how you did the texture?

in order to sculpt the model over the 10 million limit I used this pretty weird workaround

http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthrea…cement+exporter

since i used the multidisplacement exporter i couldn’t make multiple color maps, so iused the disp maps in lightwave as input parameter for a gradient in the color and luminosity channel, thats all, i simply used the temperature colors…

Cool, thanks a lot

That method of splitting up the mesh and making it seamless is great, I’m going to have to give that one a shot.

I’m afraid I can’t get the second link to work though.

awsome dude real nice ! i wanna give it a shot aswel for my next project did you use any refrence ? if so could you give me a link it just looks so awsome !

Great work! A realy good texture

I run a special effects company. I would like to purchase this model. Is there some way I can get in contact with ā€œFretwizardā€ personally to purchase this balrog model.

bad ass man! that balrog sculpt great! awsome man!

The fire-like detail on its back is amazing, and I love the wings
