I have finished GOW2 and COD5, both great games (the flame thrower in COD5 is amazing)
I just started Dead Space, the atmosphere is insane
but before continuing playing I felt bad having done nothing but playing recently and I did another model head just for fun and practice. I will also try to stay away from my console tomorrow to try to texture the reste of my old samurai.
here is the head, it’s not an old guy so it’s very less impressive but it’s good pratice too
the hair is not finished, modeling and texturing need more work and I have almost nothing in the back of the head, still wip

how do you make those sharp wrinkles:)

Hi guys,

this week-end I read “Justice” from Alex Ross and the new “KingDom Come Special” one shot and I felt like trying to model Superman’s head.
It’s my first superheroe model, at the beginning I was putting a lot of skin marks then I realize that it wasn’t fitting the character at all so I removed them.
I still have to work on the eyebrowns, the hair, lips etc…but I will wait to have the head textured before continuing the modeling.
I have also started the body, who knows, perhaps I will finish it before getting bored of it

the hair in front is a separate subtool and I used the Bryan Silva brushfor the hair details

here is an update of my superman
I did the cape in 3dsmax and started playing with body proportions in Zbrush
more to come soon
I don’t like my boots, for now it’s two different models, I think I will combine them and detail it in Zbrush

[edit] I did a small update on the model and redid the boots, next post will be more worked

Now THAT’s Superman. The head proportions and facial detail are effin’ tremendous. Body proportions seem slightly on the cartoony side, is that the look you’re going for?
