I just wanted to say that this is the best Zbrush work I’ve ever seen, at least in my opinion. WOW man. It’s amazing the amount of detail it has.

I know it’s a bit late to comment but I can’t believe I missed some of the things in this thread and I wanted to congratulate you for this awesome piece.

Though I agree that from close-up a lot of parts seem they need more geometry, that’s the main thing. Imagine all those parts were higher res though, then this would’ve been insane, but I totally understand why it ain’t so and I guess we’ll have to w8 for Zbrush 4 maybe and newer PCs /technology to achieve that smoothly. Trust me I understand, I had a project once with nearly 40 million polies and it took an hour to rotate undo or do anything in order to take a render, and it took so much hard work, patience and perseverance.

I can imagine you had to go through a lot of frustrations with all those polys and needed similarly much effort and hard work to achieve this so congrats again! I love it and it also reminds me of my own style of working in Zbrush! I’m not to the same level though lol but similar style, I also go into detail-frenzies when working, especially baroque stuff. :smiley:
