Great model from you as usual. Just love the one you touched up this one…
It’s so alive.
Thanks for the texturing order. Really helps. COuld you go into a little more detail about the stacking order in PS and the layer properties and opacitt settings etc?
N I C E !
Thanks for the coments.
Some changes on mouth/nose area.
Man O’ Man,
Its really hard coming up with something totally unique on this forum, but you’ve pulled it off. Congrats on this one! It would be very interesting for you to make (if you haven’t already) a background story. I know this is probably as far as your going to take this character, but it would be neat to see your take on this fella’s body.
Anyway really nice work!
Gary
Muy buenas actualizaciones Arturo
Thanks sir.
There is a background. When I design I always try to make a history behind the character. In the guideline from the collector(as I said before I will make a silicone bust for a collector and that´s only the design), he told me that he was very impressed with the squence of the Market of Hellboy 2, and thought that I could make something unique that looks like a creature of that escene.
After that I begang to imaging the background story so here is:
About the character I would feel more happy with a some type of ancient culture member not violent, thinking by myslef like someone from a pararel exitence(not necesary extraterrial).
What about something that are watching us while we are growing as civilization. Menacing in a extrange way but at the end good qualities.
He has this bigs horns not like a power or pride signs, but they grow to protect the so sensitive brain he has, and because they work like resonance boxes to expand his mental capabilities.
He is an old creture from the start time of our universe, he always try to evolucionate the human races all over the universe not only the earth but he know that if he were evidente to the eyes of humans they would consider him as a monster(like Hellboy), so he decide to be working and living in parallel worlds using gates to travel. He was the creator of the Market of the goblins in Hellboy 2, and use to be there trading strange object that he find on his travel evolutioning the universe. He likes to be very close to the world he want to help and this market( because in every planet there is one) is almost invisible between all this strange creature like him.
About the wardrope I would love to design and make something for him, but till the moment it is so detailled the own scultpture that I have to think how to make a good mix. I agree with the idea of a Gipsy or a nomad.
Hope that you will enjoy the bad redacted guide line, I have take the test from the emails themself.
Arturo
very inspirative character !
I made few test of reflectivity today. I spend 45 mins doing tests of materials.
I have paint very rough this eye and add a gloss layer.
I sculpted first a shape with corneal hole and the gloss layer with corneal bulk, then i have use the corneal bulk to introduce the relfexions, using photoshop editing using layer.
Arturo
Hey Buddy I missed some of your latest Works!!! Great Stuff as Usual!
My new model.
Like always it is a digital maquette for a practical display I will do for a collector.
It is very wip.
Hope you like this.
Very cool Arturo, I like this a lot! I like the eye as well. Is that in ZBrush?
Hi Sir:
Always a plesaure.
Yes is all Zbrush now, I like to put the grey color foe the face and the eyes and teeth in a little bit more real look, like when we put resin eyes on a sculpture.
thanks, Arturo
Another awesome Work Arturo!!! Great!

Fantastic job my friend!

Hey Arturo.
Long time no speak.
Hope all is well.
Wonderful sculpt! I was wondering when someone might tackle The Elephant man.
You’re doing him justice.
Keep up the great work.
