Thanks aurick, and Thanks Zack, Great video! Very insightful<img>
Nice to see Zack, it’s always more fun to see ideas from beginning to end. I like the solution sketch/character, can’t wait for the feature. One of my favorites!
What makes for ambiguity in a feature?
I did pay close attention at the siggraph lecture
here are some examples of ambiguity
the fact you mentioned this stuff
was a nice touch

nice weekend,
its always a pleasure to see your sculpts!
That was great. thanks.
Very Cool, nice to have a higher level discussion.
That was great, but I get the feeling there was a lot more to that lecture!

“Can we have some more, sir?”

Which Siggraph lecture are you guys discussing?

Fantastic! It’s really nice to see something thats looking at the bigger picture. I hope Zack does another DVD at some point because there is clearly lots that can be learnt from him.
Edit: Oh this was from the Siggraph presentation? Will the full thing ever be available, by any chance?
the most recent sig…here in Boston
he did speak on the matter covered in the .qt
Ahh that makes sense. I wish I had been able to make it to the last Siggraph : /
Just finished the video. Great stuff Zack. It is nice to see a discussion on design method! It definitely has me thinking.

you left me wanting more. I loved it
A while back I posted a bust I had created of Tars Tarkas using ZBrush. Since then I have been working on the whole figure (my first) in LightWave, using ZBursh to help fill it out. This video came as a pleasant supprise to me as I’ve been spending a lot of time on this project.

Great clip and beautiful sculpting.
I had the pleasure to watch it there in the siggraph, and it was very very interesting, i´m glad to be able to watch it again here! as usual, a pleasure to see zack´s stuff
Cool stuff…thanks for sharing !!!
see title!
French Pee lou is #2 on my list!!!
actually I’m surprised at the ambiguity of the Tars Tarkas that Mr Petroc showed himself. According to the description, I think something much more bug-like… tusks in mouth could be mandibles etc, and the only thing in the natural world I can think of with antenae is bugs. So, I would have used bug eyes etc… maybe even an exoskeleton.
what the hell… i still cant download ... how it
s work…
