Wow, this is really good! The amount of detail is crazy!

How much time did it take to complete?

Thanks for sharing!

cool,i like it

Nice model. looking forward to seeing some wips of this;)

Incredible work!! I have a question about your workflow, on a project like this how many subtools did you have? Are we talking each belt is a subtool for example?

Looking forward to seeing the WIP!

Thank you for sharing

hey man! amazing work…I really like the skin details :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

imho, the untextured version looks way better. perhaps it’s a light or shader issue. great sculpt nonetheless.

A-couple thoughts, DAMN! That is an amazing model. Also How long did it take? Did you start all the pieces from scratch? What kinds of sources did you work from? Is all that done by just you, or did you have help? What did you render in? What do people think would be a reasonable amount of time to get something like that done in a business environment?

Do you think he gets hung-up on stuff a-lot when he walks around? I’m imagining him in my house trying to walk across the carpet and knocking over everything.

P.S. checked your website. That lion dude is sweet. I would like to see a render with him wearing his mask. Also now I know who you are. i saw your stuff on CGtalk. I have a hard time with names, but I tend to remember people by their work.

I like everything except the saliva dripping all over. Other than a Komodo, I don’t know of any reptiles that slobber all over like that. Did you use a bearded dragon as reference for the head? Looks like one.

very cool:+1:

Great work.

Wow, if this isn’t top row, nothing is. That’s phenomenal. 5 stars.

:+1:

Holy crap… !!!

Luv the detail on the cleaver…

boy , have i got a long way to go…

man your texturing is SWEET!

Thanks a lot guys. I’m glad you like it.

stefanobernardi: Thanks stefano. It took me around 20 days on my free time.
Teefawks: Thanks man, in this project there are 96 subtools. Yes, each belt was extracted and is an independent subtool.

Mr-NYM: Thanks a lot.
It took me 20 days on my free time.
Some pieces were extracted, others are from ZSpheres and others from Shadow Box.
Sources are references of lizards, inspiring concept arts, movies and all kind of fantasy stuff.
Yes, its all done by me.
I used ZBrush to render.
For me, in a business environment, 7 days is a reasonable amount of time to do this.
haha, yes, maybe in a room he wouldn’t make a step, but on a battle field he walks better.
