Armor Space

Great modeling and workflow explanations. Keep posting! It’ll be great to see how this turns out and how you got there.

So, what is the final poly count if I may ask.

Awsome work!! i really like your armor design

Very nice work. Used a very similar approach a few years back for a sci-fi starship concept for a series. Your results show one of the best and least used features of Zbrush.

saludos!!!

I want to thank you very kindly for sharing your technique, I still trying to get my head around it, so this will help a great deal. Thank you.

Thank you for the tutorial, this is really helpful, have a nice day

Hello again and thanks for your coments;)

To get difinition in Projecton Master, the model has 5.624.832 polys (SDiv6) with alfas (PSD) with a very nice resolution where the white color will have more effect and black color whithout effect.( I hope you understand me, sorry for my inglish:cry: )

This is the “edge loops” progress;)

Thank, merci. gracias.

I love all that detail work on the armor. Great job.

It just needs a bit more wear and tear and blaster marks, and I say you deserve a top row. This shows what zbrush can do. Do you have zbrush 3.0? You could really go wild with pixel painting on this model.

Excellent work! :+1:
I agree with womball, this suit needs some serious battle damage (ie blast marks, scratches, dings etc) and a heavier dirtmap, especially on the hands, legs and feet. They should be real filthy and are just way too clean, I guess you just havent gotten around to painting them yet!
I have been looking forward to seeing this finished since you started the thread a while ago!

Great info and model…Cheers!
