Great work, Meta! My only crit would be the head, characterize it a little - Seems too uninteresting at the moment.
Did you render the whole highRes Model in Vray or did you juse Displacement Maps?

thomasMahler is a low mesh with displace maps using vray, here is the same model but another point of view. The model is not finished yet but i wanted to play a bit in max to get some results, again c&c welcome, and maybe some ideas for the colours cos im a bit lost there…thanks!

He looks nice with that color from the rendered illumination. Maybe just use that color with variations around detailed spots? It’s up to you. Someone will come up with a better suggestion.

I’m curious tho, how many polygons is it totally now and how much time did you spend on it ?

Max the artist, about the polycount, it’s around 2 million polis right now (in zbrush) in max I use a low version with displace mapping…about the time spent i have no really idea, since i worked on it in my spare time, which sadly is not a lot
Anyway im trying to finish a kind of reel with some of the models done in zbrush so i hope i will finish it soon and post it here to get some c&c. Thanks folks!
