Definatly the top one, Jhotun: The 3/4 is more dynamic. I really like where this piece is headed…I like the skin shader a lot too…

Hi!
Probably this is the last modeling update before textures and displacements. I should have finished it this weekend, but so many things happen on weekends! Well, it was my deadline, so i think i can move it a bit 
I was not convinced at all with the helmet hiding almost all the face (and the hair) , so i came up with this kind of crown that i think matches good with the sword. The gauntlets and the armor on the shoulder will have a similar gothic look (zbrush) so i think it all will look better. Also, i plan to add some kind of fire or magic on his left fist.

I really like how the illustration is coming along, I would make the pose more dynamic by having him lead more with the shoulders(just 1 side) and have the elbow from the leading shoulder more in front of the character, as he would be more in a ready position to strike. He looks like he’s in more of a resting pose now. Also twisting his body more too.

Oops … missed your updates (excuse: I was on holiday). Great looking work. Personally, I think his head is amazing and would avoid hiding too much of it with helmets or hair. The eyes, in particular, really pull you into the picture, and too much ‘furniture’ around his face lessens the effect. Keep going … this is excellent modelling.
