lookin great man, im diggin your workflow. never seen those guide lines for modeling. you said those were made in lightwave??
yes it’s a polychain (2 point polys)
I extrude edges from it to make the upper body, or i import them in Zbrush as a background template, for the arms i made with zsphere in this exemple (see the last pic, the hands are always in polychain template, i extruded to be visible in zbrush)
