Pilou

I just have got no words… :grimacing:
you really really REALLY have deserved that place in the top row…

Very cool…
i love anatomy…
congratulations!

Very good and detailed!

Great work! :+1:

this is amazing, Its a brilliant piece of work and hmm, it just reminds me of how much I love anatomy. Thanks loads for sharingthis as it is really inspirational. :+1:

Very cool! Great job! I want to see the rest of the body.mm

Hi Anguyen,
Well all has been said about your terrigic work but i’m saying it again  : great work, even if he has no skin, this guy realy looks alive. Can’t wait to see more of his body

Dizzy Boy

nice ! very well done ! :+1:

Anguyen, this looks fantastic…i’m amazed at the low-poly model you start from ,i had thought you needed more edgeloops round the ears to get such a high definition …i know from your earlier threads that a mesh with a to high poly-count makes creases in a model if you devide it to much, but this model seems so low in poly’s …!?.

jantim

Really impressive this work… Congratulations!!

It’s already been said…

:grimacing: wow…!:grimacing:

this is really excellent…i can’t believe how detailed it is, especially after i saw the base mesh…my eyes popped out of my head. are you planning on texturing?

Looks like someone’s understanding their anatomy.:+1: Great job. Your are going to learn so much from building your own digital Ecorche. I’ve seen the sculpt as well and I agree with Zac.

Please keep us informed of your progress. I would like to see you create this model, the face particularly in a different expression ( the mouth open and the jaw down) so you can explore how the muscles stretch.

Really outstanding!!!:+1:
this graphical style is really exceptional in 3d

this was the reference i was thinking from Andrew Lommys

hi all, THANKS for the many responses…its great to be posting again in this active forum…i will try to get the body done soon also…although i do have to resculpt the face back to detail since im redoing the topology

grugi/vivien- i would like to texture it but thatll take away my sculpting time:) its funny i wanted to be a lighter and texture artist at first

zippzopp- thanks dood, good to see you on this forum still even after you got
a job before me! as for friday classes…no comment…(dont wanna
get in trouble!)

scottspencer- yah i dunno whats wrong with the links…i had a lot of
trouble even uploading the pictures…im doing the rest of the
body too, ill post it within the next few weeks as i get more
time to work on it…thanks for the displacement video by the
way!

zpetroc! —big compliment, thanks! THANK YOU for making your dvd, it
really opened up a whole new world for me allowing me to
sculpt and worry about technicalities later…as it should be, the art comes first. (stinky cheese man is great!)

meats—great to hear from you!..howd your trip go? yep, still zbrushing,

ooops, i accidentally pressed tab enter

anyhow…

andreseloy—your comments are always welcommed! thanks…as for the
i just used the simple brush…no alphas…what is this CIBA
Geigy Laboratories again? well my workflow is very simple,
just take a ook at zacks dvd!..thanks for the loomis pic, now
that i look at it, i think the zygomatic bone on my sculpt is a
little low at the ear…oh crud!

frenchy pilou—thanks for the thread…i love learning anatomy!

monstermaker—you sure are cranking away at zbrushing! ive gotta keep
up!

jantim—yah i usually start from a very simple mesh…any problem areas
that need more resolution, i usually try adding edge loops in
zbrush…if that doesnt work out still…ill just sculpt it to my best
ability and when i redo the topology, thatll give me more room to
work with since the topology is running according to the details

apollo- haha, so youre on here too huh? wanna see your work up here
too! thanks for the korean bbq again, it was delicious, my treat
next time!

hopefully i didnt miss anyone. anguyen

What a superb anatomical study!
He’s actually got a lot of ‘human presence’, to him which is cool (unlike a lot of
others I’ve seen) and I can’t wait to see how you progress with him Anh…
Also I’d look forward to learning a bit about your modelling approach too, if possible

Chris

Oh wow! Do you have progress shots? or gasp a zscript by chance?

:+1:

Your head anatomy is one of the best of all the posted works in the gallery. I’m really impressed with the work you’ve posted here. What model did you work from? Were you restricted to reconstructing your head from anatomy books? If so your results are particularly impressive.
