Anatomy 2R2: Member's Showcase

Haha! Ricard, you are too funny man.

Your work is so fantastic and trust me on that even when you don’t believe in yourself.

I am almost halfway through the course, so I am taking a little “break” to have some fun with the module lesson number 4 creature.
There is soo much to take in and learn, but I am loving the experience. Also I’m finding that the more I work through the anatomy, I’m also
learning tons about how to use and work within ZBrush. These renders are mostly BPRs with a little C4D and Photoshop for the environments.
My thanks to Ryan for a great class!

Thanks a ton, Kenny. We are learning every day in these classes.

And Mathias Bader draws very nice big cats.

Mathias is amazing! So many good examples to emulate in that class.

Hi i couldnt afford the Anatomy 2r2 course but i am trying to sculpt the bones and muscles myself… I just have difficulty in sculpting muscles… Right now i am using shadow box but how does you guys sculpt muscles in the Course??.. Wat tool u guys use?.. Can anyone plss help me?..

Hello Dixit,

We used in class several tools, shadobox, zspheres and even zsketch. Ryan introduces different workflows and techs just to let us choose what we could prefer in the future.

Usually we drew some basic shapes in shadobox and refined them using claybuildup, trymm dynamic and so. If you don’t like the mesh from shadowbox (not very friendly, sometimes), you can apply dynamesh with a low res and subdivide the shape if its necessary or just take any simple primitive and tweak it until you have a nice shape and then dynamesh it and do some clean up.

Well, lots of options.

At the end, the only thing that matters is having a good guide, good info, good references and choosing the tools that you enjoy more. In any case, details are not important, shapes and structure are the most important part to learn.

BR.

Thank you very much…

I came across the old Shawbrother stuff on youtube and really started wondering why there isn´t any game out there, that let´s you pick those oldschool guys (e.g. one armed swordsman, the flying guillotine guy)
in some cool fight game with all those mad sounds

Sounds like a fun idea Remi but you have to factor in the business side of things. I don’t think that would have a huge enough appeal to get a good return on the money spent to make it. I grew up watching classic Kung-Fu flicks but I doubt the majority of kids (kids = under 30  ) these days know much about it. We’ll have to wait until it builds in popularity and becomes “trend worthy” like zombies, comic books and “being a geek” has become.
