I thought I would take a break from the Gnomonology tutorial I’m working on… I worked on this instead. Hope you like it
There is definately something unique about your sculpting style. Id love to see a video tutorial from you. Will be checking gnomons site.
I wont bother repeating a 3rd time why i love your style. I could tell this was you right away, and it’s still great
The neck thing is throwing me off on the last one tho.
Beautiful! Economy of effort but with maximum result!

Really cool man. Looks a lot better with eyelids. haha. Dig the new alien. Looks like he could be in men in black. His got a lot of personality.
Love the designs!
Especially, the relationship between form and detail in your work is very unique…
Hey Madmac, to answer your question, I can’t tell exactly whats throwing me on the neck part. But my initial reacion was that it looked more like a sci fi building or spaceship part than a piece of armor. Because of that it also makes my mind confused about the scale of the entire piece. “Is that a giant head on a building/space ship/turret?” my brain keeps thinking when i look at it.
Long story short it doesn’t say “clothing/armor” to me it says “Large Structure” (Maybe it’s just the lights, or maybe with more pieces of the character it would end up making sense). But y’know thats just me, that doesn’t make your design wrong!
wow great ! i love the last one ! great alien !
really love the last one.greaaaaaaaaaat
Beautiful and insipiring thats what i can say,I am a fan of your style of sculpting.

brettSinclair - Thanks! By the way I really dig that “crayfish guy” you made nicely done!
khalavi - Thank you very much
Art-Machine - Hmmm, I don’t really see it, well I guess I can. Perhaps I need to make the rivets and scratches more pronounced. Though I’m not sure I’m going to spend anymore time on it. I’ll make sure I pay more attention to stuff like this next time. Thanks for the crit man
skulll_monster - Thanks
romilkchoprazb - I’m glad you like it man… thank you!
mayuresh-salunke - Thank you!
madmac you are probably one of the most original artists in the forum with your own style, and amazing artwork, I always loved your work.
What made me comment to your thread is when I saw 3 stars to this thread… one has to wonder either people who give these stars don’t see the beauty of your work or … well who knows, one shouldn’t even bother thinking what other reason may be. But others have said it and I am saying it that this star rating system doesn’t work. Many people get influenced by them and don’t bother checking amazing threads like yours, that for whatever reason got 3 stars.
Just so you know I am your fan.
Keep up the great work.

KOSOVA - Thank you very much… I really appreciate the compliments and the support. It’s just fun to interact with the people that do reply and it motivates me to do more. I’m gratefull for anyone that takes time out of there day to write something. That is enough for me, so I don’t stress about how a thread gets rated or any of that, what ever will be, will be I just enjoy the opportunity to show my stuff. Thanks again for the kind words… I really do appreciate it!
