mouth and eyes should be a bit different if you want to make a good face… but it doesn’t matter… they surely will be covered by the hugger so I don’t think that they need to be modified… nice work…
Very cool work, and an unusual POV.
im a big alien and giger fan… so naturally i love it!!! great work on the hugger
Thank you everybody for the compliments.
PINKARMAN:As you already understood I didn’t make mouth, eyes and ears particulars 'cause the Hugger will cover it.Thanks for post.

Here’s a final pose composition test.I newly restarted the Hugger’s construction 'cause in the old project there was a bug in the ZSpheres structuration.Pheraps now I solved all the problems and I hope to start modellation. But for now, tell me what do you think about this.
The next time I’ll come with final work my friends.
Thank you Ron.I hope you’ll be the first to come to see my final work,VERY SOON!!!
Greetings from HHH
Nice! Super cool lightening!!!
sorry Matt but Ron will be at least the third viewer of this final work… hey man don’t you think that you’re too good to be just a first-year student??? i’m joking… have a nice summer (if we don’t meet here)
Hi Matt!
…What can I say?
I love the lighting on the 3rd image, on post #65 (named “Alien 4”, it’s very moody and horror-movie-like! … it seem coming directly from an '80s splatter movie, simply fantastic!!)
Keep up the good work!! (maybe a little of GI can help every rendering, but… you know… I’m a big Global Illumination fan/lover!! … so, you better don’t listen to me! I use GI even in my Breakfast Eggs! )
Choose the 3rd, it’s truly amazing!! Believe your friend!!

The sphere model looks good!
Ehi guys, how do you think that I must color it.
I’m mading my color version but I have in mind to made also a “psichedelic” colorized version of my beastie.
I want to make you partecipate to an “interpretation” of the final work.
If anyone of you have some idea for this work, send it to me on this page and I’ll do my best for satisfy you!!
Hope to receive many opinions,MattHHH
Heyas,
My opinion… muhahahahahah…
Raw zsphere models have a kewl look to them before skinning. I have used a few raw zsphere models before…but now… I would skin the beasty and probably go test several materials for it’s skin…the type of look I would be after would be one of the following.
Bone mat and bone colored
or
Intestinal wetness with maybe some shades of red and pinks and blue veins to make it look like guts or something along those lines
or
I like leather materials
or
some blueish titanium robocop looking color
and there are always danger colors as well…in nature normally anything that can bite you or envenomnate…(new word sp?) are normally brightly colored to keep would-be predators away.
maybe some type of blue cottage cheese look might be kewl…afterall this thing jumps from an egg where it lays in wait, awaiting to be birthed and do it’s one time duty…so it’s kindof like an octopus, kinda like two sets of hands with a brainsack in the middle…raw and mushy …
you might try playing around with transparencies in zbrush…
put the beast on one layer, paint him up…and do a best render and bake that layer then go to another layer and choose the jellybean mat and drag out the modeled beasty again and make it a hair larger in size …adjust your zadd and position the now transparent beast into place and play with the lighting and render adjustments etc while still in edit mode to get just the right look…might make for an interesting effect for the beast…I don’t know what all a zscript would help in showing this but if I didnt make myself clear or you dont understand what I am talking about just shoot me an email to [email protected] and I will put a zscript together for you…and with fingers crossed hope it works…I was playing with this some the other night and got some interesting effects…I will do the script using primitive shapes to give you the idea…well time to go pick the spousal unit up from work and grab a bite to eat…just lemme know.
creatively yours,
Ron
hello again…not able to do the script yet that I wanted to show you…was trying and am forgetting to do something…well I erased what I had done…sucked very badly…but started doodling again along your facehugger motif and came up with this quicky for ya…here is the script and the image thumbnailed…hopefully the script will show everything involved in this doodle…maybe someting in it that helps…or not…lol who knows…

I think you have to color it like the movie creature : the face hugger is colored like a chicken without feathers
ciao frà !
