in the tutorials forum there are a bunch of hand tutorials using zspheres…take a look around there.
if you want i can send you a zsphere female anatomy that i made…
the zphere version looks pretty good… but i got some problems with the adaptive skin which is a real mess… he he he :rolleyes:

i recognize the one second from the bottom.

it has a dark, somewhat grungey feel to it… i realy like this style…Psychedelic swirls and waves are realy neat.
the yellowing materials you used realy make a neat effect…
the one with the cave and the water under it, it realy neat.
The second from the bottom is really some ‘hardcore’ piece of work

I’m not sure what you are going for.
I thought you were going to put out some shots of the facehugger as a whole or in a scene.
You put so much work into that model, I hope that you don’t scrap it. It’s an incredible piece of work.
If you were going to implement it into an environment that resembles the pics that you posted, that would be awesome. I wouldn’t choose one pic overall. I would just try get the feel for Giger’s work. Colors, shapes, and like you said clostrophobia.
You could create something of your own that resembles that effect. Organic, murky, moist enviroment. Sexuality, gestation, mutation with a hint of an industrial appeal.
It’s wide open!!!
I always check this thread to see what you’re doing with it. It’s very fascinating to me, since I’m a huge fan of the series. Or should I say, the creature and Giger.
Someone was modeling a facehugger without knowing there was an H. R. Giger beforehand? I knew about him before there was ever a facehugger.
