Just want to let all the fans know that he just released a DVD where he goes through the sculpting and modeling of the German Soldier. I watched it this weekend and really enjoyed it. It’s not a detailed step by step explaining all the tools, but more a behind the scenes where he goes through all the steps he uses to create this master piece. As a Maya user it did hurt to see the wonderful modeling tools you guys have.
That video training would be awesome but it deals with modeling in max. You should try a Zbrush only modeling tutorial. That I would buy. It would be great to be able to see how something like this is modeled.
I just saw the tut, and I highly recommend it. Thank you Alessandro!
i wanna be like you.
precisely as he shows it in his dvd - with Max and Zbrush, just like in a typical production…
Ok, just wanna share something i had the pleasure to work recently at Blur…It`s a cartoony version of Dwayne Wade for the Goldfish commercials …zbrush has been extremely useful for rapid prototypation first and detailed modeling after …
and 3d studio max Vray final sample still :
and here`s a personal project instead based on historical event occured in Italy back in those glorious days …
Zbrush render :
and 3d studio max/mental ray render :
and last but not last one character i really loved…and i always will : Kenshiro from “Fist of the north Star”, my take on it …BPR zbrush render :
Enjoy!
