Different render
brilliant material work mate
Nice frog Bas.
As abxy pointed out, the material works very well.
Seeing your frog entries has got me wondering…what happened to the “ZFrog Zoo” that’s mentioned several times earlier in this thread?
The link (www.pixolator.com/MNC/ZFrogZoo/index.html) is broken. Seems like a neat idea to me, but of course, I’m probably just biased due to the fact that the only image I’ve yet posted to ZBrushCentral is that of a frog
This one I made for a book about old walking-sticks.
Gracioso, divertido… Qué buen trabajo.
Maybe time for a ZFrog Challenge?!
Who starts it in the Challenges section?
Cheers
Lemmo
You are in a Zbrush frog Challenge
Me too?
Love it Bas. We did a frog challenge fo sorts a godo while back…the community had a ball with it.
I took and made a snake handle, for an old fishing rod , out of wood , a while back…not the greatest but it worked well and felt very good while casting.
A new frog challenge sounds great though.
yer bud,

Doh:o
Here is my Toad experiment. I will not work on this till my new PC arrives. My old P4 1.9GHz 2GB had it. Me to 8-). I smoothed the upper teeth… then I lost patience. Even with everything possible masked the response of the brush climbed into the 15 seconds. No way to work like that. So I plopped the lower row in and gave up on the plan to inflate a nice gum line around the teeth. The render took 28 minutes……

Better make a snail on that old computer
That’s a good idea. One of those in the woods without the house. That saves geometry as well…
LOL

PS:I already piled upa bunch of toy’s which will have to go to ebay for the new monster pc.
PPS:Hmmmmm I lowered the desktop resolution as long as I work on the model and it’s alright to work on it regarding the speed. Seems the Pixol’s introduce processing overhead galore. I’ll ramp it up for the final compoisition…
I was digging up old threads and read this one awhile back and gleaned some good tips from it and a bit of inspiration so thought I would post my own froggy here. Not a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination but a fun couple hours work and an excuse to revitalize this great thread. Frog and shrooms - zbrush (from zspheres) the scene was rendered in Bryce just for giggles, although it got a bit “muddy” with downsizing. Thanks to all… Matt
Built with ZShperes, rigged and rendered in Poser, textured in Photoshop via ZApp Link.
Great new pictures!!!
Rigged in poser? didn’t knew you could rig also non human stuff in this program, could you spend a couple of words more on the rigging process? If you don’t mind of course, otherwise i’ll go and search over the net…
you can rig anything in poser. if you have it the manual has some good info. if not go download it from their website.
Ludikastyle,
it’s a piece of cake really_ not as sophisticated as a lot of other modelling/rigging solutions but I build all of my poser models in ZBrush now (I specialise in organic natural history models) You can’t rig directly in P4 but any of the versions above this you can (ProPak up through to P6).
Here’s a link to one of the ZBrush tutorials that demonstrated more eloquently than I could how ZBrush and Poser can be used together to create animateable and morphable characters.
