Nice sketches ! Love 9 and 10, but not so angelish. (might be why i love them hehe)
Waiting to see one of the in 3d.
A deadline at work - not much time to sculpt or draw. Hereās a quick half hour zsphere sketch - trying to find the right proportions. Not working on the pose - the final image will have a totally different composition as compared to the sketch.
1 hour in max. Just a very quick draft render. Searchin for geometry, mesh is a total mash - will have to remodel later. thinking of adding some organic part maybe - here and there. Still a long way to go

Still searching for a design.
I loved the last design⦠but i think the arachnid types eyes suit it better. makes it look more ⦠menacing is the word i think iām looking for. also gives it a wider field of vision which in itself also makes it more dangerous lol
With all this work, personal site update and holidays donāt have the time to do some real staff. Some design update. Still donāt like a lot of things, but starting 3D - will fix then in the process.
Nice job man!!!
Wow, great design, really original. I like how the silhouette is obviously still very important in your design process, and how you arenāt afraid to let the color on the model describe everything that you want to describe.
Great work!
I completely agree, great work all around.
This is like a brilliant mix of an Sanghetti (Elite from Halo) and a Geth from Mass Effect.
Looks great.
Looks great man !
Very cool
haha very cool !!!
Somehow this roboangel turned to be a forever project - just canāt find some time to finish it properly - the design and materials. So hereās some draft render. Throw a stone - say what you think
No stones about it, this puppy looks great! Awesome job man! Love the hard surface work and the color choices!
Wow!
Keep it up.
Now if you are familar with Mass Effect.
This character looks like a new version of the Geth.
It does have a bit of a Geth feel, as well as the Mech from District 9. Itās a cool design. I like how it feels organic and mechanical at the same time. The black skeletal frame and combined with the āskinā sections works really well in this. Good balance.
My only crit may be that it would feel just a hair more stable if the feet/toes were a bit bigger/longer to make him feel less top-heavy.
Could just be me though.
Again, great work.
edit
Actually not the āfootā at all. I think if the front toes were extended just a hair more it would do it. The feet are actually fairly decent already.
It feels like his toes are curled instead of gripping if that makes sense.
great work.
ITāS AWESOME! Thatās what I think. Wow.
This is an Emu⦠or emo⦠or emu emo. Or may be even emo emu! Iām totally lost and canāt tell the differenceā¦
This is an image created for the 3Dcreative magazine tutorial about designing cartoon characters. The tutorial will be released later this year.
