a gallery of ladies - some naked :)

These remind me of your “dead dog” painting
a long time ago! marvelous pictures! "
(mach so weiter Juju, daß ist ein
toller Kontrast zu manch anderem über das
wir diskutierten!)
Would you please tell me which kind of brush
you used for the handpainting!!

I like the first picture most but also the others :+1: :+1: :+1:

thank you all for the feedback!

JOLA, the one you like the best (and most of the others) was done by filling the canvas with a plane, with material : flat color. for painting on it i mostly used the simple brush with z-add off (no depth) and different stroke-types like free-hand, drag rectangle (for the stars) and linear stroketype (after playing with the spacing-settings in the stroke-window). very simple indeed

as i type this another idea comes into my mind: it might be interesting to do a "hand"painting with z-add on and reducing/excluding the shading via the renderpalette - i’ll post any results of this as soon as i have given it a try (and i am finished with the project i am working on right now  )

juandel, I love this last picture! Its one I can see being displayed in a gallery

thank you, smiles!

next batch: three transparent sunset-dancers - i did not manage to come up with the effect i had in either of them but what the hey, here they are

  • juandel

Wow Juandel, I have to say this is some of my favorite work, especially the subject. There is something special and eyecatching to each one and yet they are so different!

The new batch
the bizarre but erotic seagull woman is even more interesting as she is in the desert and not the sea. But I think she is a mirage or a halluniation you might have with Carlos Castenada as your guide

The Blue dancer I think is in a downtown New Orleans Marta Gra fever, or just too many hot peppers. This one would be great on canvas

The water girl is just wonderful, jiggly and full of motion. Probably dancing for joy as the sun sets because she will not evaporate away. I love the way you have made her braid react with her body as if caught in motion. That really makes it!

Fabulous and triple neatobanditos
:+1: :+1: :+1:

Have to say again I love this series

I love them all! :+1: My favorites are the woman with the cat and the woman with the braid in the desert.

I guess I like the one with the cat, because it reminds me of the relationship I have with my cat. Whenever I lie down he wants to sit on top of me.

That dream image is fantastic…!
And this whole thread with these mystical ladies is a real treat! :+1: :+1: :+1:
(So, Hansl…When are you going to put some of these ladies into your beautiful landscapes? )

thank you for the “warm” feedback, z-amigos!

here is a somewhat cold lady - and a tribute to :+1: :+1: :+1: z-fun & -art-master robotalk complete with an attempt to be at least as half as funny as he is:

"Olga Stolichnaykova loves her vodka pure and herself on the rocks - at the local “polar bear parties” in the Dnjepr. the drinks make her feel so — sensuous  in her steelbikini. so - making appropriate eye-contact - she breaks through to the next hole with a cooled male - but hey? he’s running off? “freeze, comrade!” "

  • juandel

Ohh that is way better than a robo–that is so stylistically sophisticated–a true vodka bottle beauty–and so funny too --thanks for that --and the others above (3 that I missed) soooper Zooper thread of Naked ladies good for the soul and a balm to the eyes!!! wow Wondell   :+1: :+1: :+1:

Humor, beauty, this thread has everything! I love the icebreakin story and the image of those mighty pointed breasts plowing through the ice! This is soo great!!

In honor of this thread, and I hope there will be more, I made this page

Juandel’s Gallery of Ladies - Some Naked

:+1: :+1: :+1:

Olga is PERFECTO Juandel!
:+1: :+1: :+1: :sunglasses: :+1: :+1: :+1:
This whole thread has been wonderful to watch!

hehehe: thanks to all of you!

robo: i doubt there will ever be anything better and/or funnier than an original robotalk! Olga for sure tried her best, but failed as well… anyhoo, especially for you, here is a bottle.ztl (bottomless + therefore empty  ) as a thank you for your kind remarks at my humble attempts and all that eye+soul-balm YOU have posted. kudos, master!

Digits: what can i say? another gallery! WOW-WOW-WOW! muchas gracias!!! i hope to be able to come up with a few more to fill up that thumbnail-catalogue within reasonable time!

Stonecutter and everyone else who has given encouragement and “praise” in this thread: thank you all… it is a pleasure to be here and to know that you enjoy this and that i am doing!

well, err, as mentioned somewhere above i already painted (crayon)ladies about a dozen years ago, usually at 100 by 70something centimeters. the walls of my place were covered with them until some visitors would buy one or another and i had to make new ones to fill up the space. one day the editors of a short-lived local comic-magazine (in fact they went bancrupt right after publishing the story - same happened to an editor who printed a book covering 3 artists, including me, a few years later - seems like i’m not a good omen for publishers  ) were among them and asked me (and a friend who used my place as a studio, too) to make up a story with the ones hanging around for their mag. they finally picked the most awful machismo story (chief-editor was a lady, btw :)) as it was the one with the most pics in it - blahblahblah… for those of you interested: here it is (badly scanned + i wont post pages 1 and 6 as they do contain pics of the other artist, whom i lost contact to, though they would be necessary to explain the relativity of the machismo herein  ), with another :ex: warning re: rather explicit content: page 2 page 3 page 4 page 5

i wished there would have been something like z-brush back then, but it was fun anyway

this moonbathing lady was done using Dave’s fantastico female torso.ztl and picsa’s great skin material (though there is lil to see of it  - a clonematerial with more specular intensity was painted over here and there). dont blame Dave, cause it was me who spoiled the torso using the silicon-brush  background inspired by DeeVee, of course, and water down there by Ron :).

spotlights only and one radial sun. hope its not too dark…

  • juandel

This jungle piece is GORGEOUS!!!

I’d love to see it bigger…HINT HINT HINT

here is the original jungle sans lady, especially for you, Kathy

the exported .psd was imported as a texture and used as backdrop only… simulating the light of the original jungle pic did not compliment the lady so the one with the lady has big incongruences lightwise

  • juandel

I really love the way you have the light hitting the breasts and face … very beautiful image

incongruences or no, I LOVE the lady and the backdrop lit darker.

It’s just mesmerizing to me!

Well Hello juandel,

I agree with Kathy, I have no problem with any lighting incongruences. It may be a case of you’ve thought about it too much - didn’t occur to me. Since this is not a photo but the vision of an artist - if it works, it works !!! I really like it :+1: :+1: :+1:

Loved the story of your crayon ladies and the links you provided

Regards

jd

I am in love with this new one Juandel. She is very beautiful bathing in the moonlight. Wonderfully exotic and serene as most of your images make me feel.

Blame it on the moon!
