In the interest of sweeping the courtyard for the new year:
I may have saddened or shocked some people with my first post in this thread ā but I couldnāt retract it because some people had already made reference to it, and also because itās important not to bend to the will of others 
I donāt have such a hard attitude toward Pilou, although I have had to āchase him out of my kitchenā a couple of times
I understand that celebrating every thousand posts can be a recognition of interest in and contribution to the ZBC forum 
If I were to rephrase my opinion in more general terms, I think itās better not to have one person out of 8700 responding so frequently and quickly, even with the best intentions, because that will leave more room for everyone else to participate and contribute, which would be helpful for their own learning of the program
I do have a nice picture in mind for M. Pilou, but I think it will have to have moving parts, because he is so quick and I am so slow

Well I gotta admit to getting a little irritated with the amount of posts by FP at one time.
However I have changed my attitude.
Why?
Cos the guy is incredibly interested in Zbrushā¦and the forum. Addicted I would say.
I find a lot of his posts quite interesting. He is always there for anyone. He posts replies where 8000 odd members donāt bother. And, I believe he is grown into a posting friend of many here who possibly would have been ovelooked by many others.
He checks out all scripts to the 10th degree.
I also donāt think there is a bad bone in the guy, although I have seen him point out some things, particularly when he sees an unmentioned rip-off.
As for congrats on 1000 post marksā¦I leave that for others, the number means nothing to me.
Your opinion though Havran is just as valid as mine. I enjoy seeing your honesty, I like forthright people, and I believe that you do not actually dislike FP.

Mr. Pilou to me is one of the mainstays of
this forum.
Whenever a newcomer contributes a new post or thread he is there with all the help and kind words he has.
He is a virtual encyclopedia of Zbrush.
For the past few days and if I am not mistaken for the next few Pilou will not be here.
Look if you will at the new posts and more importantly the requests for help that have nothing under the topic no āwell doneā no see thread such and such.
I am not saying he is the only one who helps.
Far from it, but he does it consistently with kindness and patience.
And I might remind all that he is doing it in a language that is not his native one.
You have all probably read my posts on his behalf before, you will continue to,
I may have many faults but amnesia and ingratitude arenāt on the listā¦

I have been watching this thread, and found it very interesting in terms of the comments on the amount of posts, and other nonsense, and since I have a wonderful list of sites that Frenchy has posted, including some of the best Art sites Iāve ever seen, I will say thisā¦

None of this has any meaning, but enthusiasm, sharing, and a helpful attitude make this place worthwhile, and without that all you would have is a ācultā surrounding a particular appā¦ And after more than a half-century on the planet, I have better things to do than be part of a cultā¦ On the other hand, someone who welcomes new members, is full of ideas, is generous and courteous, and sometimes funny as hell, makes this a place with something for everybody.
