Lightning (Final Fantasy XIII)
Hey! This is my version of Lightning from Final fantasy XIII I remember the first time I saw the character back in around 2007, I thought they had done a great job doing a character that´s not over the top, just right, really appealing. Great balance in my opinion. Recently I watched a talk about the cinematic legacy of Square Enix, and they showed the original concept for Lightning there. I thought it would be cool to base myself on that concept to do my version of the character. You can check another pose here! Most of the work was done in Zbrush. From Zmodeling to sculpting, to fibermesh. The only thing I modeled outside of Zbrush was the gun, mostly because I was trying to understand the design with basic shapes. Eventually that initial sketch transformed in the finished model. Shading and Lightning was done with Vray. Hope you like it!

Witch King
Hey This is a model I did on my free time, based on the concept image from https://shiantu.deviantart.com/art/Witch-King-316443599 In this project, I wanted to try and rely as much as I could on using just Zbrush. Mostly to modify old habits I have for doing certain modeling parts. I used a lot of Dynamesh, extrude mesh, and IMM as well. Only a few pieces of cloth were done using cloth simulation. Final render was done using Vray. The shader was made using a combination of VrayDirt and VrayCurvature, no UvMapping.

I love the silhouette and design, would love to see it more closely. I feel the renders are not doing it justice

Kitta Wulfsdottir
Hey! This is the game character I made for Gilberto Magno´s Workshop. (http://gilbertomagno.com/) It´s based on the concept by MizaelTengu. You can check it out here: https://mizaeltengu.deviantart.com/art/Kitta-WulfsDottir-Commission-651925149 From blocking out, to finished high res sculpt I used Zbrush, with a few elements polymodeled, such as the shield. After that, retopologyed everything, keeping in mind TriCount, which ended up being a little less than 70k. Little details such as stitches were done in Painter. The hair cards were all placed by hand. Rendered in Marmoset. Hope you like it!

Uchiha Sasuke
This is a character from the Naruto series. My goal was to mantain the relatively simple design of the original drawing, and adapt it to what it could be a more game cinematic realism, with stylized elements. I went with a neutral sad expresion. Also the dramatic top light gives it a kind of menacing apearence, which i think represents the character well. I´m also planning on working a little bit more on trying different poses, and face expressions. I´ll post those later. It was done in 3dsmax, with help from marvelous designer for the clothes. Zbrush was used for sculpting, posing, hair grooming, plus all the color and specular textures were hand painted with polypaint. Rendered in v-ray. I´ll post a more detailed breakdown later, because i´m going to be away from my computer for a few weeks Hope you like it!

Clare
Clare from the Claymore series I´ve been working on my spare time on this project. I actually started this some time ago, but never finished it. Zbrush was used for sculpting the clothes, posing, adding detail, and painting textures. Hope you like it!
