Snapshot3DBPR Filters
Welcome to a 5 part Workshop that features an in depth look at how ZBrush's BPR Filters work. In each BPR Filter Lesson, we'll show 5 NPR examples, a ballpoint pen look, a pencil sketch look, several halftone examples with dots and lines, and finally a blueprint example.

FoldersZRemesher 3.0 - KeepCreases & KeepGroups
Let's familiarize ourselves a little better with ZRemesher's KeepCreases & KeepGroups functionality. In this Lesson example, we'll take a pair of mech designed wings with various types of topology and apply ZRemesher with the help of Creases and PolyGroups. Applying these functions can assist with future mesh editing including Dividing, sculpting, and PolyPainting.
ZRemesher 3.0 -...ZRemesher 3.0 - DetectEdges
Let's familiarize ourselves a little better with ZRemesher's DetectEdges functionality. In this Lesson example, we'll take a gear model that has a triangulated mesh with no PolyGroups or no mesh ID, but has edges to help utilize the DetectEdges function. Once DetectEdges is activated, we can convert our mesh to quad based geometry, create PolyGroups, and most importantly retain our clean or hard edges. This function can assist with future mesh editing including Dividing and sculpting or features that utilize PolyGroups.

Rebirth - Carlos Ortega - Works
"Rebirth" A remake in 3D of a 2D piece I did a few years ago. I was never satisfied with the original 2d piece and did this version a few months ago, finally posting it here. Rendered in Maya in Arnold, hair generated with Ornatrix. And some npr renders I will use this new thread to post some of my recent works in progress, final pieces and excercises. Thanks for watching!

ZBrush 2019 Beta Testing - Carlos Ortega Elizalde
My small contribution to the Beta testing. Was a lot of fun to watch and play with the new features as they were polished. It's awesome how features like the folders improved my workflow a lot, even with simple scenes it's a lot of help. It's the first time I spent every session only in zbrush without jumping to image editing software or my usual 3D modeling program. The NPR filters were lot of fun also, having full control on every tiny aspect gives you tons of different and interesting results in very little time. Thanks again to the Pixologic team, the love for this craft really shows, it's a great release! was a great and fun experience taking a peek behind the curtain, and shout out to the rest of the testers, tons of great works from awesome artists I really admire.

The Weather Keeper
The Weather Keeper An old character from a year ago, started just as a quick sculpt practice in zbrush, then kept moving it to other areas, trying to spend as little time as possible on each part of the proccess just to try some workflow shortcuts. The rig mesh is just a zremesh with minor cleanup in maya, it worked fine for this experiment. The cloth is from Marvelous Designer with a zRemesh pass, fur made with ornatrix, maps and everything else created in ZBrush. Rendered in Maya and FurryBall. The model, texture, rig, skinning and animation are far from polished but it was a fun experiment Thanks for watching!

A bust I started while stranded in a Florida airport back in September after I lost a flight. It was just a small messy sculpt to kill time but I took a small break a while ago to make a proper render in maya. I haven't been able to work new projects in the last months but it's something Thanks for watching.

Awesome! I love this, i'm learning maya with vfx wizard, zbrush is a lot easier but box modeling is for modeler, not for artists so is natural that it is harder. With my first recent work, my amulet, i felt very satisfied, but is only with great works...

Thanks for the support guys I'm slowly moving forward on each model discovering new things, really fun! Another practice: I'm not really into fanart, but playing too much Arkham City got me inspired playing a bit with qRemesher, it's a really awesome tool.

Carlos Ortega - WIPs & Sketchbook
Hi there, I had an account here but never used it. I got ZBrush about a month ago or so and I'm learning it -again- since I had the chance to play with version 3.1 a time ago. Anyway, I'm having lots of fun in the free time I have to practice thanks for watching.
