Our character is now able to run, dash, jump, and double jump. We got the elevator working last night and some coins added to the scene. Man this has been such a fun process! We are now set to release this Monday on itch. I will post a link to the final game then if anyone is interested in playing.

Here are 3 quick concept sculpts we did for the enemy to get our creative juices flowing. We know we wanted a snake like creature that would come up through the ground and attack Handsy. Enemy Concept 1: We scrapped this one pretty fast. It just did not make sense to have a cobra behave this way and did not fit the style of the game. We liked this idea however it is too evident that you need to avoid this guy. Here is the enemy we decided upon for now. And here is a shot with a better place holder texture for the island.

Adding assets to the scene really helped us figure out what we were trying to accomplish. The makings of an iron fence to surround the mausoleum. At this point in development we had run, walk, and jump animations working well.

First Indie Game WIP
Play the demo now!! https://the-floor-is-lava.itch.io/handsy-demo I wanted to share with you some the work I have done on a puzzle-platformer indie game (You probably cannot even call it an indie game. Indie games are better. Maybe a garage game) called Handsy! What started as a 48 hours game jam entry has since grown to something more. We have started from scratch with the idea that you are a severed zombie hand who is searching for his long lost body. I am responsible for animations (maya), models (Zbrush), and texturing Substance Painter. All renders are screen shots from Painter/ Unity/ Zbrush This mushroom was my first project in Substance Painter. We plan on releasing v1 of the game in February on itch.io

The going has been slow but I'm trucking along. I need to add bolts to the firearm, slightly fix the pose... Does anyone see any areas of concerns for a 3d print ie the floating barrel on the firearm. I know dynamesh closes holes in the mesh but if my model does not have any holes, is dynameshing everything necessary before printing? Sorry for my ignorance. I have never done this before.

Shootin' the Breeze WIP
Here is a new project that I am working on. I plan on printing the final piece and presenting it CMMG (a firearms manufacturer in Missouri) as a gift. This is still very much a WIP and it is the most in depth project I have ever attempted. I have learned so much by doing new things to stretch my abilities i.e. hard surface inside of zbrush, clothes, hair, pretty much everything in this was new to me The firearm is a place holder (some of the proportions got distorted) Let me know how I can improve my work.

Here is my first ever Human head in Zbrush!! This will be a part of a larger project that I'll finish someday. My 7 children keep me pretty busy :P The taste bud looking things were supposed to be bits of gravel. This was my first time using Nanomesh so I have much to learn! Critiques are always welcome.
