what a lovely sculpt and print! I really like it! The ears seem a bit unfinished thought but it doesn't take away from the rest of the work!

Skull Alien
Hey guys, here's another recent work of mine. Skull Alien bust. The unpainted images are of the resin casting of a 3d print done on Form 2. It's 9 inches tall (about 22 cm). The color image is an Arnold render with a quick texture pass done in Mari.

Cyborg Resin bust
Hey ZBrushers! It's been a while since I posted here, it's pretty tough to upload everything at once here, so I'll be rolling out my work over time. This is the first sculpt I printed on Form 2, 19 cm tall. I learned a lot about 3d printing working on this guy! More to come

Thank you very much guys! @lebaje You are correct my friend! I printed out the "master work" and then did molding and casting. Took some time to learn this stuff, but was well worth it!

Alien Spitter
Alien Spitter colour version. Alien Spitter from Nikita Lebedev on Vimeo. A 3d concept bust of an alien spitter I created using Zbrush, Maya, Mari, V-Ray, Keyshot and Nuke. The design of the base was based on H.R. Giger***039;s artwork.

Alien Spitter
Hey guys, this is my latest sculpt - a concept bust of an alien spitter. Despite his hideous looks, this guy is cuddly and likes candy. As always C&C are welcome! Hope you like it

Beauty and the Beast
Hey guys! Last couple weeks i've been working on a few projects and here's one of them - Beauty and the Beast. I made this ****roach for a short film me and my friends from our CG team are working on. I decided to put it on the apple for the contrast of aesthetics and colour Modeled in Maya and ZBrush, texturing done in Mari, rendered in Maya using V-Ray. Compositing done in NUKE. The short has still a long way to go, but once it's finished I'll be sure to post it up here Hope u guys like it! cheers, Nikita

looks amazing.I especially like the brain.so much details.did you use keyshot for render??
  • n1agara
    06-17-15
Thank you, Diablo Yes I used Keyshot for the render here and textures I created in Mari. Keyshot still feels a bit clumsy in setting up the look you want with translucent materials for me, compared to V-Ray. I'll see how it behaves on other projects!

It's all good, there's no rush Take your time And I remember first time I tried ZBrush in 2007 I believe... and it was overwhelming for me at a time, besides the fact that I didn't know english well enough back then, which made the whole experience...

Art of Nikita
Hey ZBrushers! I've been around here for some time now, however never published any of my work. You guys have been a source of my inspiration, the engine that moved me lately, for which I'm entirely grateful This forum is a fountain of creative, really inspiring work and I guess the time has finally come to start sharing my own stuff. Here's my most recent work, I've just finished a week ago for the cgsociety's THU Tribe contest. As always on the time limit, there are many things I'd like to polish and all, but nevertheless here's a result of the last two months of my work, I hope you guys like it ZBrush was used for modeling, Mari for texture painting and Maya and V-Ray for rendering. Screenshots below are made with Keyshot for Zbrush. Overall it was a challenging project for me and I learned a lot from it. Polycount reached 57 million polygons... Thanks everybody for taking your time to check out my work Cheers, Nikita
