I'm also gonna use this topic to ask for some pipeline help.
Obviously I'd like to get as good a final result as possible, but I'm lacking in zbrush to 3dsmax workflow knowledge..
I'm one of those new breeds that started off in zbrush and then began learning 3dsmax, instead of the other way round.
There are a few good pipeline tutorials out there, but many of them are outdated and/or incomplete. What I need is some help on making out what exactly it is I need to complete a high-res 3D model.
Most tutorials only cover displacement maps, normal maps ór texture maps, but none cover all three, or say which ones are actually needed, and others redundant. Also I'm not finding any tutorials for zbrush 3.5 ánd 3dsmax 10, although I'm sure there are software improvements made regarding this subject.
Are there perhaps some good ones I missed? Or could someone who did a previous tutorial take the time to update theirs? Judging from the zbrushcentral help and tutorial section I'm certainly not the only one facing this problem
