Hi there folks! I did this character for the Bruno Câmara´s cinematic character workshop. Learned a lot of new tricks and great inspiration during these latest months. Choosed the "Getae" amazing concept by Mariusz Kozik https://www.artstation.com/artwork/128AZ. The wolf pelt fur was particularly an effort. Since this is my second vfx/cinematic workflow character i still have a long road ahead but i like how it turned out. Rendered with arnold and fur using xgen in maya2018. Texturing in substance painter and Mari . I hope you enjoy

Erik Heyninck- thanks a lot! glad you like it, i don´t have an academic background in sculpture but i had some classes of life drawing at university. i indeed look to follow the same tricks artists that i admire use once in a while, but to tell you the truth i usualy make the characters in standing poses because i always fail when trying to have a more dynamic pose. working on that, just need to understand better anatomy to go for some action poses here´s some studies i´ve been doing lately. hope you like it
