Journey towards eternal harmony
Her is my final sculpt of "Journey towards eternal harmony" Here's my back story Young and in love, they wanted to go fly, roam, travel, voyage, explore, journey, discover, adventure. They wandered everywhere through cities and countryside, and everywhere they went the world was on their side. But the road of life twists and turns, leaving him with the agony of parting from his most loved one. With crying eyes, not ready to say goodbye, he realizes the truth unfold. There wont be a forever, like the one before. Too many feelings unsaid and untold, if only he could have her back and tell her each one of them. He is told, each tear is a healer and a teacher, it will heal his wounded heart and teach him how to live without her. No one comprehends, they were meant to be together. It all felt unnatural and something had to be done. He would rather have had one breath of her hair, one touch of her hand than eternity without it once. Smiling and closing his eyes, he embarks on another journey, knowing he will meet her when its over. They will be together forever and this one would be eternal. All Sculpted in zbrush and rendered in key-shot and Composed in Photoshop.

Beauty and the Beast
La Belle et La Bete (French for The Beauty and the Beast)- However cliched the title might be, this work of art has been inspired by the very thought of freeing ourselves from the cliche. Prejudice and stereotypes become part of our system from an early age. I see babies and young kids marvel at everything about everybody around. But as they grow the typecasting sets in, ironically, taught by us as parents, peers, friends and teachers. I dream of a world with the vision that each one of us has beyond the pigeon hole, a vision that considers and appreciates the unconventional thought processes and approaches. With this piece of my work I wish to take a step towards that vision. At the first sight, our banality makes us assume that the girl(human) in here is being referred to as the beauty and the scary crocodile is the beast. At this point I would urge you to take a step back and consider that it was meant the other way around. Challenging right! Surface never always delivers the complete truth. Each year we humans hunt and kill thousands of crocodiles for their skin, which is considered beautiful and art. I look at it as the beast inside us all destroying the beauty for our futile anecdote.

  • Erik Heyninck
    07-16-15
The work was already fine, but now that you have added that underwater look it becomes even better. It is rare to see an underwater scene that is so believable. Do you perhaps have scuba-diving experience?

It is fantastic work, I really love it, but what is an idea behind it? The scene looks like an ocean with immense depth, but do crocodiles live there? A dolphin might look more logical, but I can be very wrong. Of course, a crocodile is much more...
  • Rory_L
    04-13-15
It is lovely! However, aren't you missing a chance to make this more individualistic? You work in Bangalore; why not make the croc a gharial? R
