The Rage
This is my personal creation project. The story is about the madness of a gorilla who is tamed in a circus. The gorilla is trained to perform boxing show with other animals. He has to fight with tigers , kangaroos, sometimes bears maybe. Also, not just the gorilla , all other animals in the circus suffer tons of torture day by day. Just to amuse people. Finally , one day, an unstoppable fury drives the gorilla strike out the punch of destiny. The punch got to be heavy, got to be furious enough. The ringmaster got to be knocked down. Or it would be the last rage of the gorilla ever…… I use Zbrush for most of the modeling process, uv seams and mapping, and some basic texture polypainting. Zbrush really provides users lots of powerful tools . Zremesher , UVmaster , Decimation Master , Dynamesh , Zmodeler , Panel loop , Nanomesh , these tools all play very important roles in modern modeling process.     I remember a tutorial in a FB Group about monster designs with transparent skin. Igues it was yours? With working in Zbrush as usual but creating inside and outside and then combining it in Photoshop? I love that use of bright and luminous colors....

Overwatch Characters Art Dump
Hi, my name is Renaud Galand and I’m the lead character artist on Overwatch here at Blizzard Entertainment. It’s my immense pleasure to introduce you to the Overwatch character team and share with you some of the high-poly work that’s helped support the final assets you see in the game as well as in some of our animated shorts. Overwatch has been a labor of love and passion since day one, so it is very exciting for us to finally be able to show some of this content. If you’re not familiar with Overwatch, it’s a highly-stylized team-based shooter set in the near future. The game features objective-based maps based on real locations across the globe as well as a diverse cast of 23 heroes (and counting!)—each with their own unique arsenal of weapons and abilities. ZBrush To Photoshop Experiments-Breakdown![Part01/02]
A'righty! This is the process I've been messing about with for the last several pieces I've posted here on ZBC. 1. It all starts with a fairly loose sketch in ZBrush, mostly blocking in the larger shapes & elements, silhouette, posing and color indications. At this point I don't really worry about blending surfaces too much. As long as I have the major plane changes and shadow shapes it's enough information to work with. After which I setup a BPR with some filters to get a base render to work with. [I typically use the sharpen, reflection and color correction filters a lot, but that'd be a post of it's own!] 2. And then into photoshop it goes for some color grading. 3. After that I mix in some passes generated using the ZBrush To Photoshop CC plug-in. [If you haven't yet, try it out! It's handy and saves a ton of time all while keeping things organized!] 4. Then comes the lighting. I use a blend of both a custom lighting setup and also the ones generated by the plug-in[usually the rim lights]. 5. And then comping in some effects like SSS, Shadows, Bump, Fog, Normals, etc. I also tend to use the wireframe pass to add a bit of texture from the dense hi-polyness [Doesn't always work as intended but it's cool when it does, haha] 6. And the last step: Paint, Liquify, Paint some more; Repeat till you're satisfied with the result! So, I hope you guys found this useful! Would you like me to elaborate on any particular step? The Commander
Finally finished this character after much work. He is the main Antagonist of a story I have been developing. His basic story is that he was the commander of a mission into deep space...not sure what the mission was but the idea is that they got lost and disappeared for 200 years. Think of the Marie Celeste legend, but set in space. Now he and his crew are back and not too happy either. Something went wrong and they are looking for the man responsible.... Or that could be one of many stories..maybe we will never knwo who he truly is..or was... any way hope you like him! I will be adding his second in command later... All work done in Zbrush and Maya, with some textures in Mari.

Hey everyone! My name is Adam Skutt, I'm the character lead over at Ready at Dawn. A bunch of us wanted to share some of our artwork with the Zbrush community. This was a great project to work on, there were so many talented artist involved in creating these assets. All of these images were rendered in Keyshot and sculpted in Zbrush Scot Andreason did the hair cards for Lakshmi, Majid Esmaeili sculpted the male glove and the weapons holster that was shared by most characters. Hi everyone, This piece has been around for a while as a 3D printer test model. I feel I owe him a body. Hanza - Overwatch fan art - Breakdown
What up ZBC I created this fan art project in my spare time as a way to practice some skills and techniques as well as pay homage to the art style of Overwatch. I ****ing love Zbrush and I love its helpful community. I've been creepin here forever and wanted to share some images and details about the making of it for other artists. I created almost all of it in Zbrush and I rendered it with Keyshot bridge. I hope you find something useful. I got the hair to look the way I wanted by adding a lot of Fibermesh. I created several "clumped" strands and some larger sections to fill it out then some loose/short hairs. 20 subtotals total not including the eyelashes and eyebrows Here's a shot of my scene "all low" and Polygroups. I like to keep pretty low divisions, it makes everything easier and I knew I'd be posing in Transpose Master. I got the most questions about the tattoo and rope so I made some breakdowns

Uncharted 4 - A Thief's End Characters Art dump
Hey guys, i am Frank Tzeng, the lead character artist at Naughty Dog, our character team in Naughty Dog have been working on Uncharted 4 pretty hard for years, now that the game is finished, we can finally and glad to share some cool character art works over here at ZbrushCentral.
