The Commander
Finally finished this character after much work. He is the main Antagonist of a story I have been developing. His basic story is that he was the commander of a mission into deep space...not sure what the mission was but the idea is that they got lost and disappeared for 200 years. Think of the Marie Celeste legend, but set in space. Now he and his crew are back and not too happy either. Something went wrong and they are looking for the man responsible.... Or that could be one of many stories..maybe we will never knwo who he truly is..or was... any way hope you like him! I will be adding his second in command later... All work done in Zbrush and Maya, with some textures in Mari.

Hey everyone! My name is Adam Skutt, I'm the character lead over at Ready at Dawn. A bunch of us wanted to share some of our artwork with the Zbrush community. This was a great project to work on, there were so many talented artist involved in creating these assets. All of these images were rendered in Keyshot and sculpted in Zbrush Scot Andreason did the hair cards for Lakshmi, Majid Esmaeili sculpted the male glove and the weapons holster that was shared by most characters. I've been doing some portraits lately, famous people portraits, to improve my likeness. I will try some different ligth setups to get more realistic results asap, but for now I call it done. (Btw huge fan of Daredevil and Vincent). Most of the work was done in Zbrush and Maya. Rendered in Arnold. Hope you like it and any C&C is more than welcome!

Hi ZBrush Central. First post on here. I've been checking out the forums for a while and have seen a lot of amazing work. I've had the honor of working with Chris Cao over the last few months and I want to give a special thanks to him for being a rock star mentor and for always pushing me forward. Also thank you to my lab crew for giving me constant feedback throughout the process. The suit is Mass Effect and Halo inspired. Edit: forgot to post the high poly which was stupid because that's sort of the point of zbrush... lol here it is anyway.

Apeman Anatomy Study W.I.P.
Hi everyone, This piece has been around for a while as a 3D printer test model. I feel I owe him a body. So, I decide to make it a perfect practice to study anatomy and pick up my traditional art skill. My reference for the poses is the famous sculpture Hercules and Cacus by Baccio Bandinelli. And of corse, the anatomy figures from Andrew. I like to keep low poly meshes as long as I can, here is what I have sculpted so far at 200k polys. Hanza - Overwatch fan art - Breakdown
What up ZBC I created this fan art project in my spare time as a way to practice some skills and techniques as well as pay homage to the art style of Overwatch. I ****ing love Zbrush and I love its helpful community. I've been creepin here forever and wanted to share some images and details about the making of it for other artists. I created almost all of it in Zbrush and I rendered it with Keyshot bridge. I hope you find something useful. I got the hair to look the way I wanted by adding a lot of Fibermesh. I created several "clumped" strands and some larger sections to fill it out then some loose/short hairs. 20 subtotals total not including the eyelashes and eyebrows Here's a shot of my scene "all low" and Polygroups. I like to keep pretty low divisions, it makes everything easier and I knew I'd be posing in Transpose Master. I got the most questions about the tattoo and rope so I made some breakdowns

Marvel´s Iron Fist for XM Studios Collectibles

Uncharted 4 - A Thief's End Characters Art dump
Hey guys, i am Frank Tzeng, the lead character artist at Naughty Dog, our character team in Naughty Dog have been working on Uncharted 4 pretty hard for years, now that the game is finished, we can finally and glad to share some cool character art works over here at ZbrushCentral. @slothkins: For pre-planning I had one single idea for each robot per day. So the one in the video was 'flying' and that was about it. Then I just started modeling stuff and looking for shapes I liked :) No balance issues on any of them they all stood; you can get a sense of the weight from orthographic views (making sure to give them substantial feet also helped.) @nebular, @boozy floozie, @freewaldo: Thanks for the kind words! So for today here is another quick 3D Concept ~2hrs. This time I time-lapsed the ZBrush process. Video is below :) I had a starting idea for this one sorta war of the worlds ish.     Thank you everyone. I placed the eyelashes with IMM brush I made with up and down lash versions. That idea I learned from Rafael Grassetti's Portrait post. The eyebrows are xgen groomable spines.
