The official pronunciation is ZeeBrush. That’s what everyone on the team has always called it, including Pixolator. And I think he’d know.
That being said, I’ve taken plenty of phone calls from people who’ve called it ZedBrush. If that’s what’s comfortable for you, go for it.
If the people who made it call it Zee Brush, then it should be called Zee Brush…but you Americans
have funny pronunciations : you say “sodder” for solder and soddery is still illegal in some states.
I personally think that Zeebrush flows better anyway
Can someone please record a tutorial on how to pronounce that please?

Funny discussion.
I guess it sounds like “sea” brush.
let´s start a poll… I vote for ZeeBrush
In mexico it’s pronounced like… SeaBrooch (some guys write sibruch)
¿how is it like in your country??
my wife(?) pronounces it “ze reason for divorce”. wish i was joking.
Wait a minute now, where in the hell are you guys getting “Zed” from? What? That doesn’t make any sense at all. How do just throw an “ed” in there? I bet it was a guy named Ed. That’s what I’m gonna do. Go around and just start adding letters and syllables to words with obvious pronunciation. Starting today, it’s called ZamesThorntonBrush. Get over it.
Those wacky Europeans are at it again. If you listen to them Jamez your name would be pronounced, JameZed.
Just when I thought life could not get any more meaningful, I run into a life altering thread like this. Now I’ll be able to catch some Zeeeeeeeeeeeee’s.
Being from the land downunder, I originally called it zed brush but after a while it idin’t sound right. You’ll notice that I refer to it as zee brush in my video tutes. Zee brush sounds nicer and not so harsh. It’s like comparing stone to clay. Clay is easier to sculpt with so it seems to fit.
Cheers,

That’s deep. When you have to pee do you actually need to ped, ya know, right before you go to bee at night?
In Spain we use to say “Zetabrush”. “Zeta” is the “Z” letter´s name in spanish.
