Finally I want to show you one of a few pices I did for Royal Selangor DC line.
These are pictures of the final model.
I had the great plasure to work under Mufizal Mokhtar art direction.
The model was entirelly done in Zbrush 4 R7.

Let me introduce you to Dr. Fate from the DC Universe! Its a personal project I just finish.
He is base on the “New 52” series with some personal touches.
I really enjoy working on this character and I hope it will become a collectible one day.
I was responsible for the design of the whole pice (concepting, sculpting, texturing and rendering).
Every part was sculpt inside Zbrush 4R8 then it was render with V-ray.
At the bottom of the post I leave a small TUTORIAL of how I approach to create this pice.
This is incredible work. Your Dr. Fate floored me. Just wow.
Really appreciate the tips + insights too. I’m learning the software and it’s easy to become overwhelmed with just whats available.

Moving out of your comfort zone its always a great and rewarding challenge!
The whole character was sculpted with Zbrush. I also used ZModeler for all the hard surface which turns to be an amazing tool!

Hello everybody, I finally finished this fanart!
What an amazing challenge!
My intention was to show him in a victorious museum pose after a difficult fight against Black Manta. I also wanted to show all the power of the sea behind him, supporting him!
Its a classic version but I redesigned some parts… like the armor for example.
Sculpting the waves was the greatest challenge for this piece since capturing the flow of water its very dificult!
Everything was sculpted inside Zbrush, the rendered with V-ray and final composition with Photoshop.

“Eraser Head” from the anime “My Hero Academia”
Everything was sculpt with Zbrush and then render inside 3DS with V-ray. Final comp in Photoshop.
