ZBrush Live

I worked on this idea during the ZAcademy days, but since ZScripts, it lost its main appeal. But here’s the pitch:

Watch over the shoulder of a ZBrush artist as they create, demonstrate and answer questions live…on the web.

My initial trial went…well, not so well, but we’ll see. I may need someone to test it on.

When set up correctly, anyone can be the featured artist and do the presentation from home.

It will take me a couple weeks to get this up and running, so if you have any questions, answers, comments, suggestions… this is where to post 'em.

Hi Kaz

This is a brilliant idea! Zscripts are a wonderfull way to learn how to use ZBrush but at the end of the day, you can’t ask a Zscript a question or ask it to expand on a concept etc.

One suggestion would be to save the video so that people could download the sessions for “offline” viewing or to review them for the ones that have early onset of memory loss (including me)

Encoding the video in DIVX format would ensure that the video would be of high quality while still maintaining a small file size. DIVX is also playable on Win/Mac/Linux.

Hey Kaz, if you want a volunteer, I’m at your service…I can give you all the time you want, and since I work in my studio every day, I can work to your schedule…
This sounds like a very worthy service you’re trying to provide, and I would love to be of assistance…

this sounds like a way very ultra kewl idea…great idea Kaz…keep us updated on whats going on in regards to this project… :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:
