Hi all
A Couple of skull rings i’ve done, sorry for the crappy pictures we need a new camera :D. 18 K gold and diamonds. Sculpted all in zbrush. Enjoy and thanks for looking.
Hi Ylog… Great work!
Where are you having your designs printed and manufactured, I am having problems with my current supplier… Details seems to get lost.
Regards Ziggy
Hi Ziggy.
Thanks. I work as sculptor and designer for a jewellery company and we have printing and casting inhouse. Sorry im not more helpfull.
Thanks Ylog…
This from a Viking to a Viking… my father came from the Faroe Islands and mother is from Swedish decent…
What wax printer do you guys use?
Ziggy
@ Ziggy. We use a 3d systems printer but it’s not really wax, it’s a kind of lightcuring acrylic or something. It takes a very special aproach to cast it.
Thanks Ylog…
I am speaking to 3D Systems and other companies, there are so many new players on the market, but purchasing such an pricey item is a matter of doing ones homework first.
I would appreciate it if you could supply me with the model name/number.
As you say it takes a bit of doing to cast from these, as my suppliers in South Africa have messed up time and time again.
Ziggy
it’s called hd 3000. but it’s a big and expensive machine to have around. If it’s for smaller productions i would recomend geting a small envisiontec.
Hi all
This piece was comisioned by a jeweller, for a client of his. Really fun to make. 100% Zbrush. Thanks for looking.
Great work, and as you say Fun to…
hi hw do you give ring size and metal thickness in zbrush in mm
Hey. Excelent finish work. Where do you achieve the final material (silver, etc…). Is that from a third-party company?
The final pieces are made inhouse. Im employed as a sculptor at a jewellery company.
