Its hard to get the body proportions right, but luckily I feel its going the right direction.
It looks fine. I wouldn’t worry to much about them. He doesn’t have to be a perfect human afterall.
yeah the flow from head/neck/and torso looks better in my opinion. I really like the neck, and shoulder muscles/transition to chest. The only thing that kind of stands out to me crit wise is the belly. It kind of feels like for as fat as it is up top, it isn’t fat enough towards the bottom below the belly button area. Normally with a really big belly it is largest at the bottom where it kind of hangs over. It could just be the angle though. Definetly no expert on anatomy, or how fat works for that matter lol. Just what comes to mind when I look at it.
Kinda like to play around with him still. Here I’m trying to make the face a little more cartoonish.

That is looking really god, especially his expression is awesome, and gives him tons of personality. I don’t have anything to crit about him. But i would love to see a full render of him :D.

Now its time to construct the “powerloader”/fighting robot/dreadnought around him.
So in the next update he is hopefully going to be posed and have a whole machinery build around him.
The techniques for building the arm so far is taken from meets meiers zb for illustrations.

So I’ve posed the goblin on my way to develop a hires image.
I’ve actually rigged and skinned the goblin in 3dsmax and it is ready to be animated.
I would like to make a short animation with the goblin in the mech, so right now I’m developing the mech. Maybe later I’ll make an animatable rigged version of it.
This one is absolutely not riggable. hehe.
The thumbnail is how I would like the composition to be when I’m done.
So i still have a chair, two joysticks, legs, feet and tons of other stuff to go.
But hey… I’m having fun.

I think I’ll repose the goblin and redo the mech a little though. Don’t think the pose is strong enough and I also think the ‘shoulders’ of the mech are a little too small. Hopefully updates will come tonite.
