WoW Zombie

Bimm the Stone - Thanks,
jit_gohil - Thanks
Maya4fun - Thank you.
odhinn - Thanks, The model is all rendered in zbrush, every piece of this guy was made in zbrush. the poly groups are made from the zspheres not separate uv regions, no displacement maps just bump.

Any crits out there? Be as harsh as you want please, I need all the help I can get

realy nice work !
5 stars

i relly like the head texture :] osmething really cool about it
But i dont like the arms and hand muscles, eaven if it a zombie, he schould be based on human anatomy :] And you could have done something with those foot, add more details, you have a lot of polys to work on :]

Bernard Caumes - Thanks I like your zombie a lot to, maybe we should sit down sometime and discuss zombies lol jk

slocik - Thanks, about the anatomy, what parts of the arms and hands stand out to you as not being correct? What would you change? I agree it’s not dead on it’s not suppose to be, but I also don’t think it’s all that off, I based all his anatomy and muscle structure off of a humans and then changed it and pushed to be more stylized to meet my needs

The legs definitely could use more luvin I am 100% with you on that one. Thank you very much for your advice though, it’s something I can actually use!

the problem is where they start and end, some some to be to short and other just to lung, actually you cant see baisep ending at all :]

long break on this guy, coming back to do some updates, first, quick lighting update and messing with perspective.

here are some new shots

great!!!

This is a great looking zombie! Fantastic skin details. Just wondering if you have done anything to fix the max displacement? I mean his mouth area, and was that due to low polygons in that area?

looks disgustingly good.:+1:

Hey,

this is a great zombie! Very fine detail in it. :+1: Amazing! What sizes are the maps? Color and bump?

Greetings,
xbucket

That model looks awesome. I dont know the World of Warcraft zombie but to me the nose looks a little wierd. It’s too big and round in my opinion.
Besides that. I really like the thing you did to the eyes! Makes the creature looks much more believable.

That’s an awfull detailled looking model! Really like the ā€˜position’ of the overall model. It’s really detailled at the places where it is needed. Are you gonna use this model for animation? Really want to know what the ā€˜displacement mapping’ reveales if you use the Max skin-modifier, do you use Mental Ray or the default scanline renderer.

Keep on ZBrushing and hope you don’t mind feeling free to put you on the ā€˜buddy-list’

looks disgustingly good:+1:
