whahah!

Oh come on! Powdered Toast man! The shorts from Ren & Stimpy! Waffle Woman!

Just another view, added some more veins.

Great work, I’d love to see a colour + SSS render with all the new details

Screengrab.jpg
As requested a screencap of how I composit my passes together.
I haven’t texured this guy yet, but I hope to do so soon.
The texture map you see is just 1 frame I did very quickly, That’s why it doesn’t match the mesh exactly, I actually made it for a previous version…
My videocard won’t let me record, so it’s a vid without audio, sorry for that, I hope it’s clear enough…
This is me just messing around sometimes, also my first screencap, so excuse me for some boring parts:P

really like your render, wich software you used(render/composition)? and of course congratulations nice job

I used maya/mentalray for rendering and fusion for compositing, thnx!

Just wanted to share a lil side project I’ve been working on the last few days, this is him in steps:

awesome character man. very good sculpting.

absolutely dig that head.
reminds me of a high detailed Uderzo(Asterix) on steroids character

thanks a lot guys, here’s some more!
A few extra zbrush renders will follow, I also did some polypainting, so SSS renders will follow too.

Really good!

Thanks derek,
here’s another update.
Timelapse will follow soon, I’ve also been polypainting!

As I said on LUNCHCRUNCH Great model dude … Great details :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

looking forward to timelapse
how you did detail on the last head you used alphas (if yes can you share?) ?

great work !

cheers

The skin pores are amazing

BUSNISMANPATRIOT: Thanks again!

nielot007: Thnq!
I mainly used damien standard to cut in wrinkles (with it’s standard alpha) and ude the formbrush to puff those wrinkles up. I also changed the damiens alpa to 40 (the small dot) for the fine wrinkles. For skin I used z4’s skin brush quite a lot. also a spraying standard brush with standard (shipped with zbrush) pore/wrinkle alphas. So, half is drawn by hand, half is alpha work.

Thnx SuperHer0!
