wip (nudity)

Hi folks…

Been a while…ive been busy working with Andrew kerr on a new dino book.

(stunning renders in maya by Andrew)

I look forward to posting more images as soon as I am allowed to …

Also…should anyone want a peek…i have updated the digital art page of my website.

Bring on zbrush 4!!!

Great news!!!
Heading over to have a look now.

A touch more fog/haze over the second/background Brach would really help it settle into the picture. Right now it is a bit too clean compared to it’s surroundings.

I should never use the same pose with two animals in the same scene.
Looks good but stop being lazy

Hi Baz…I just sculpted and painted the things. I worked with a guy called Andrew kerr who did all the renders in maya…something Im hoping to do more of with all the new zbrush 4 features…Absolutely cannot wait.

I also have mudbox 2009 and i imagine zbrush 4 will blow that out of the water. Then again…they just polished a turd when they released the latest mudbox.

Here are some zbrush images and renders from the new dino book. I modelled 96 in total over a five month period (do the maths)…absolutely frantic deadlines and I wore away a wacom pen nib. At the most frantic time I was averaging one creature modelled and painted every two and a half days…never again.

That is some serious serial work you have there…

Great models! A minor complaint. It’s a shame that the texturing/lighting isn’t on the same level, so the creatures would look real. I don’t know what’s the deal with BBC though, but I don’t care much for the 3d models nor animation of their cg creatures as a whole (actually the only good 3d animation/models I’ve seen on BBC was fight for life, especially the heart http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/tv_and_radio/fightforlife_index.shtml - 1st clip) Hope this was helpful

Looking forward to seeing more from you :sunglasses:small_orange_diamond:+1:

I love dinosaurs, great work there mate
