Wings3D Alien Head (Low-poly)

A long over due update…still needs more tweeking. Just thought I would show you whats been going on with him.

Here is any animation of him in wings to show the polys.

I forgot to mention that the hair like strands were not made in Wings3D. To get such a variance between strands without having to model each one I used a loft object with a taper function in Cinema 4D. In it are a circle spline with 4 points and a second spline to define the path(2 end points & 4 control points). This allowed me to copy a single strand several times and merely adjust the control points for the different variation. Then its just conversion to polys and importing it into Wings3D.

I like the update, except for his ears. It seems like you have lost some of the definition that you had in your previous incarnations of this model.

You’ve been working on this guy for awhile, I admire your tenacity. I wish I had that kind of dedication to one project.

Well, I have a goal quality (in mesh construction) I am trying to achieve with this guy. I am slowly getting there. As for the ears…yeah…I know. I am redoing the ears. Tweaking the lips…again…and other things.
