I applied for a character design position for Rick and Morty and took the test. One part of the test is creating a 5 point turnaround from a single drawing. I did that and then later I did these as “extra credit”.
I didn’t get the gig but I’m glad I gave it a try. I really need to work on my drawing skills. I labored on the 2d turnarounds for days (inking them took me forever) but these sculpts popped out super fast.
The image on the bottom is Gene the school principal. I did him before I took the test…
