UV mapping help, this program is a godsend.

Hi all,

In another message here I have posted the same info, But I thought I would put it here also.

For those of you that are going to be importing and exporting to another 3d application (like 3d studio, milkshape, lightwave). and also for those of you that have to do complex (or simple LOL) UV mapping here is a program that will help you out ALOT!

It is called Lithunwrap, and it supports, Milkshape, 3dstudio, autocad, lightwave,quake 3, unreal and a BUNCH of other applications as far as importing and exporting.

It also dose an outstanding Job on UV mapping, it has Cylendrical, Box, Sperical, Face and probaly a few other methods of UV mapping.

it supports Models/Meshes with multiple textures. and also models with high polycounts.

It also makes primitaves like Box,Sphere, cylender ECT and complex shapes also like Tube (great for makeing gun barels), Torus, teapot…So if you own milkshape and you need a torus, this can help you out.

Best of all Lithunwrap is on a donation program so you can try it out for free, and pay them after you learn how to use it.
