unrelated annoying upload problem. :/

Can anyone help?

I draw a lot on oekaki boards, keep an elfwood gallery, and various parts of my site depend on me being able to upload images via browsers… (the elfwood gallery’s probably most important to me though)

I have a cable modem, and until recently, there were no problems. Now an image will get about an 8th through uploading then the rest of the image will be posted as gibberish random cruddy colours… So I cant use oekaki or post pics anymore… :frowning:

What makes it even more annoying is I run the cable modem through a router and NONE of the computers connected to the modem can upload, same on every one… And every browser imaginable, always the same!!

has anyone got any idea whatsoever as to why this might happen? It fixes when I use dialup… ! Waah!!

any ideas appreciated. :confused: (it doesnt seem to be the router’s fult, it does the same when directly connected… I know of someone else who’s had similar problems too, but there doesnt seem to be anything about it on the net) :confused: :confused: :confused:

I think the best idea is to bug the guys at customer support. :wink:

Good idea, that hadnt even dawned on me… problem is in the past they’ve been more than useless… like… reeaaallly stupid. But it might be worth a try…

Or I could work out a reliable way of switching between cable and dialup without having to reboot i guess that wouldnt be a HUGE inconvenience… (well, actually, for oekaki it would, bah) grr. Oh well. :slight_smile:
