El pix : you can try create plane in second layer, set transparency, drop in texture master ,sculpt/scale this plane so everithing is on right place, set transparency off and pick… MAybe it will work, try using edit/move a lot…
2nd question : its color bump on material, you can see the model picture in tutorial…
