That’s cool.
The only flaw that I notice is the hair, especially in the front part.
Something just doesn’t work right in that part - the guy looks like a member of ‘The Misfits’ or like he is falling down from a really high building and his hair is waving UP.

Everything else is cool.

Ive seen this piece. In my head. Im not a great artist and im far, far away from creating the images in my head (let alone to this quality). But ive yearned for someone to make something meaningful. Zbrushcentral is full of great “art”. But most of them are just static poses. They do not depict a story. They dont depict feelings. Or situations. Its like they are all tests. Excersizes. Or “just” a model thats finished and ready to go through the pipe to the animator/whatever.

I am deeply moved by this piece. Its finished. Its complete. This is what the label art was invented for. The expression on his face, his hands turned into fists. His pose on the knees. He makes me cry inside. I gues we all feel like screaming like that every once in a while. But instead we harbour our feelings inside. Where they turn and twist, destroy and tire us, untill we cant take it anymore and brake. I do not know if this piece is personal to you but it sure is to me.

great, aweomse, i love it, the sculpting is amazing, even the little dents in the teeth!, and the finished work is awesome rgeat composition, and I think the lady lookin at the paiting gives so much to it! great work

I love the pose, ThaoLe!! I love the fact that his left knee is lifted from the ground. It adds so much tension to the allready time suspending pose. Very nice and dynamic use of opposing shoulders/hips (and that goes for the other sculpture as well).
I can only say that I really wish you good luck in all your artistic endevours in the future. I doubt that you need it, but nevertheless… Thank you for the inspiration.

actually there are many other pieces called “the scream”. Rodin has one and there are many others as well. You can simply refer to them by “Munch’s The Scream” or “Rodin’s Scream”. Simple as that. Every artist has a self portrait, so why not have a scream too.
