texturing nano-meshes

Hi,

Whats the workflow for texturing low poly nano-meshes as seen
on Joseph Drust CTN video?

Would you need to polypaint the hires mesh (make a copy)
then zremesh it , make UV’s and project details/color back?

Then use Col/texture to get the texture map. Then use the
high detailed/painted texture map on the low poly version.

Just wondering how you would approach this :slight_smile:

I had no trouble turning a PolyPainted object into an InsertMesh, then using that as a NanoMesh.
From there, in the NanoMesh palette, you need to turn on Mesh Material under Colorize if I remember correctly…
