Very cool. I have to agree though, on this render especially, it has a plastic look. Too high a setting on the Spec level perhaps.
Also the pose looks a little iffy (imo) What would really bring this to the next level is have his left foot on the back of the vehicle with some damage and whatnot 
Also there’s no shift in balance in his hips. It appears that his center of gravity is still centered not shifted onto the right leg like it would be in this situation.
Just some quick thoughts, it’s still pretty cool dude.
