Sweet Girl...

Mmmmm. Tasty. Excellent. For me though, the head looks slightly too wide at the very top. Still,…

in real life her head is rounder. but the likeness is amazing. the second i saw the original bald model i knew it was her.

here is the latest update if anyone interested :+1:

any C&C are welcome

edit: fixed the image a bit

hey ! this one is nice.
it’s nathalie portman isn’t it ?
maybe you should change her look, I mean the eyes are just facing the camera. Maybe if she look’s somewhere else than in front of her, she could look’s less frightening and more alive.
congrats anyway

Nice one! …did you did most in max btw?..or zbrush?
Really like the realisme of her…it resambles the original atrice just fine!
Allthough it looks like in here she looks very jong! like 16 or jonger or something
But i gues thats your aim so…
Keep up the good work!

is there any particular reason people always model natalie portman?

not that it looks bad, it’s an excellent rendition of her, imho

thx for the comments

  • “is there any particular reason people always model natalie portman?” what else, because she is beautiful right? . There also lots of angelina jolie and keira knightley I guess…

well, I use zbrush for modeling and texturing, the rest are 3dmax…

here is the latest update. I don’t know why she looks young tho…

Another amazingly real model. There’s been a number of these super real models in the posts of late, it’s blowing my mind. Wish I had more time to learn. Perhaps I could ask a couple of questions, that I probably should already know the answer to, but anyway. Quite a few have been doing this very real hair, could you or anyone give a hint as to how it’s done, I sure would like to know. Also, this is probably old hat but anyway did you use a couple of sphere’s and the multimarker for the eyes? This is something I’ve been wondering for a while, for other models I’ve seen too. It seems that some sculpt the eyes into the figure and some add spheres, I’m not sure so I’m asking. Thanks for showing what is possible with ZBrush, you have done a great job on this, and yes I think it looks like Natelie too, the two moles give her away, very pretty girl…rog(kahshe)

hmm,

actually, the eyes were made in 3dmax, the brows, lashes, hairs also made in 3dmax and rendered in 3dmax using mental ray. It’s like 30% zbrush and 70% 3dmax  (maybe I shouldn’t post the render in here :p)

zbrush was used to model the face, bump map, disp map, and textures.

This is Zbrush render:
natzbrush.jpg

the hair…nothing much I can say about this one, It’s using hair&fur (3dmax), rendered with mr prim mode, so it can cast raytrace shadow in mental ray.

sorry, can’t help that much

Now this brings up a point that I wounder about, so is it possible to do this in ZBrush (asking anyone)? It seems that some have done similar spectactular modeling, I thought mostly in ZBrush. I think it can be done, could someone let me know what they think, to avoid acts of futility, where other software is needed…rog

Holy Sh*t!! That’s one of the most realistic models I’ve seen. I don’t even think a cyberware scan would look that detailed. That’s right on the money. You are a very talented artist. It seems to me that’s really the bottom line.

I have a question: Did you model the base mesh in another program or was it done entirely in zbrush?

Very sweet!

-=GB=-

Soooo sweety, mate. Great work so far, only one crit, the right ear looks… rare

Greetings

I really like this model! Even though it isn’t as photorealistic as Jonas Thornqvist’s (SubDivMe) model, I think it has a certain quality that makes the overall result better than his. IMHO, anyway.

Congrats! :+1:

fresh update !

I was doing keira knightley after finishing her, but then decided to go back to natalie…

this time I decided to do beauty shot :+1:

current progress:

credit to the person who made the teeth available in this forum, it saves lots of time

Nice facial!
For now, I feel some kind of disproportion in the face I didnt noticed before, did you increased eyes seize or reduce hears?
Hope you will do a movie!

Hi Max,
I just did a quick paintover. I think there is too much visible of the left side of the face. This makes it look like she has a fat face with massive cheeks. Just pull the sides back a litttle and it should be fine

Maybe its just me, but the face looks really large compared to the rest of the bust, and the shoulders also look a little narrow i think. Its very nice modeling work, but to me the proportional problems on the face are quite distracting and make it a little surreal.

Wow, that an excellent likeness.
You’ve definitely captured her. Even more so with the smile

Arndtvk made a good suggestion there.
As great as Jonas’ version is, this one seems to have a bit more life breathed into it. Keep going!

Seb, you painted some pictures there when you said “nice facial”…

Wuhuuuuu, what a change, mate, i really love the last one. Impresive job, i´ll keep an eye for the updates

hey guys, thx for the input

it always nice to hear suggestions…

well, based on my fellow ruler :D, looks like only the eyes are a bit to far apart…and shoulder too, not much though…she does have big head :stuck_out_tongue:

if anyone know, does the teeth use SSS material too?
