This is an image I did in Vue. I would like to be able to control the lighting in ZBrush as seen here. I have found that playing with Vue has improved my technique in ZBrush.
I am quite pleased with this image. Please enjoy. DeeVee
DeeVee, that’s a gorgeous island view. The building in the foreground, is it a photograph applied to a plane?
Is it just me or is the lighting on the horizon seem unnatural?
Thanks for the eye candy,

No it is not a Photograph it is an object which comes with the Vue dEsprit software.
That is how the light looks on the horizon at sunrise depending on the cloud cover, at least in the Tropics! look at the direction of the shadows!
Thanks for your feed back.

… why can’t there be a “Vuryce”
!!?
Those palms… there’s nothing like them all over Bryce (ok, I can use an image with the same results, but…)!!
that is beautiful. the trees are perfect. very very good image. how long did that take u to make? it is awesome. dreams about doing that
The light on the foreground objects is right on! The water at the horizon is off though. The sun is behind our backs in this image, and the lighting where the water meets the horizon looks wierd. I know the islands in the Bahamas, and how the sun sets there. If I were you, I would travel to the side of the island were you cannot see the sun setting (or at least have the sun behind you) and view the horizon. I love your landscapes, and I hope my thoughts are welcomed.
I use Vue and the light bar across the sea is caused by the default haze setting on default atmospheres. I look out over the sea from where I live and when the sun catches horizon haze, this can happen, I can’t obviously speak for the tropics.
