brilliant picture, but shouldnt the fishermen be soaked/sweaty and not dry as you have them?

Dark_Fire, Craig Ward: Thanks guys J I’m very happy that you liked the work.
MattHHH: Thanks dude:D um I looked on dictionary.com and it came up with:
- Something unusually large of its kind, especially a ship.
- A very large animal, especially a whale.
- A monstrous sea creature mentioned in the Bible.
Pooop: thanks man, yer that’s true, I’ll give that a try, cos it was sucha rush I think I’ll find time to refine the picture to submit for expose and give that a shot, thanks for the suggestion.

I think it’s great. I also think it’s one of the few entries that manged to capture the theme. Good show.

i haven’t had time yet to sort out my wip stuff, but here’s an render of the original zb whale model (the one in the composite was a displacement version and went funny in the eyes:p) and some close ups of the water so you can see what’s 3d and what’s not, it’s more obvious up close.
Hey, thanks to you for sharing this great stuff with us. I like the extra pictures a lot too.

keep it simple.
KNOCKED ME ON MY ASS!!!
If you don’t do well, can’t wait to see the others.
I’m a huge fan of Melville’s classic, I know this isnt necessarily that, but it does send shivers down the spine, reminding me of the white whale… I think this is one of the more original entries, and have to say its nice to see something that isnt just the, “2000 years from now on a distant planet idea” hehe.
Greate work, I like this idea !
