Spawn of KRAUQUODYTE (croc o dite)

Nice job SkullBeast !

But like Maeschaet, i’m not very enthusiat about the legs on this model. They are nicely sculpted but your creature was great - and maybe more disgusting - as a worm. Just my opinion. You are the artist, just enjoy sculpting !

Keep up the good work.

man! great creature! looks organic!! really great

Hi man:
looks so good for me.
I really like the H.P.Lovecrafte based work oyou´ve done before. Now I preparing a make up of a “Insmouth look” guy. If I finish I will show you, my aproach is diferent to yours but it is marvellous see the job of other good artist on the same type of subject.

All the best, Arturo

well about these legs. That was the design. I think it adds clean direction to the piece. Spider legs add a sense of quickness and agility to the worm element. I think the legs help the design flow. And you know what, there is nothing saying that the first post version isn’t or could be the larva or grub spawn, so that could be part of the life cycle. And the story continues…

Thanks guys! I had some zdifficulties with with artifacts from maya primitives in the legs, I think I may retop them any how for the render.

wow dude looks alot like some “SPORE creature creator” creature

Great mesh! I’m unfamiliar with the creature itself! Is it your creation/take on something, or from a specific story?

*Edit: Well, would you look at that, there’s a first page with an explanation in it. Great work.

Does it have a name?

Pretty cool… hammer out some more detail in the wrinkles and bumpies to make it more believable.

Looks great man, cant wait to see the final comp!

I like the design a lot. But placing it on a piece of spotted material does not add to the atmosphere. It would go better with some glassy, reflective black material like obsidian.
Also, I guess that adding sss, even semi-transparancy (like some deep-sea fish) effect to the material would make it even better and more lovecraftian.

Brrrrr ! This gives me shivers down my spine…

The addition of the skulls is a nice touch. :+1:
