Sparky's Thread :) (Nudity)

No problem, but the best you can do is import a real-life reference, and put this gesture ref (or others) on another screen, so you can find out the gestures on the real life reference, besides, real world is best reference there is

Cheers Luis

I was just sticking to the one girl reference I have as that who I am basing this sculpt off but yeah I should be looking at other reference too, I will have a dig in my reference library.

I’m worried about the hands now

I’ve made them slightly bigger, are they more proportional now and do the forearms look to long now ?

Help.jpg

The arms look thin, especially the forearms, check some anatomy pics on the web, on the side we should see a light bulge of the brachiradialis and an extensor carpi radialis. Actually, it looks like it’s already something there, but it could use a gentle inflate.
What strikes the most however is the size of the butt on side view, it’s still too big, check some pics on the net for reference
The hips are better but can still use some tweaking, making it more streamlined with the sillhouette.

But overall, it’s improving, keep it up!

Haven’t posted on here for a while, kind of took a little break from it, but i’m back now

Anyways here is a face texture test, not final, just a test

Looks good.

I’m no expert on this stuff by any means, but it seems the ears are sitting a little too far back.

The nose looks a bit wide towards the top and from the side view it seems the nose could “sink in” to the face a bit more.

The neck also looks like something just isnt right from the front view.

I’m still learning this stuff as well, so dont take my crits too seriously!

Hi FatherO

Many thanks for your comments

I shall definitely take your comments on board and have a play with the face

yo yo yo

nice progress with this sculpt. one tip i can give you that can help you shape her body better is to apply the flat colour matcap material to it and really look at the silhouette of your model and look at your reference and try to see the out linning shape of her. This will help you train your eye to see all these shapes better and faster. same thing can be done with the face.

I would also say focus on each element of the body so take the face for instance, really look at how the eye is shaped, the lips and the nose and how they all relate to each other, do the same working your way down the body.

You are getting there just focus on the form more, if you nail it in the low poly version of her it will look awesome at high res.

Gd luck buddy. keep working at it, you are seriously improving. Female anatomy is a pain in the backside

Thank you gdkvisions  your words have given me the motivation to crack on with with her. As my motivation has been lacking since graduating from uni a month ago, friends said I would find it hard to get the motivation back as there is no deadlines or anything to keep to , but yeah from your comment I feel I’m getting it back

The image below is the flat material showing the silhouette, any crits on it ???

Hi,
you just a graduate ?!
Your works looks so promising.
I Like to Move It ,Move It…
Yeah, i think the move topological and move topoelastic (with a draw size 90+) can rectify the silly reverse curves from the female figure.
The front silhouette gives me the impresion?

Keep going.

I’d had no crit on the silhouette :frowning: :frowning:

The image below shows that the facial proportions are now correct, as they all line up with the reference

Hey CKGIRI

Sorry just seen your comment

Yes I graduated from Uni 2 months ago  I just need a job now in the games industry

What do you think I should change to the silhouette ??

I set out to do just an average ordinary young lady, not a super hot babe like Lara Croft,

Rocketeer Yes I see what you mean about the ears, I will adjust them straight away  and many thanks for calling my work Superb  that has put a big smile on my face

Close up of her hand

Kind of been struggling on what clothing to give her, the image show what is on my mind at the minute, jeans and a hoodie, if you have any suggestions on what clothing would look good on her, please could you let me know

back side looks like a man with long hair

Interu2x DO NOT get me started, because i can totally rip your models apart, this forum is the best forum there is for advice, people have taken their time to give you advice on your models and you have completely ignored all of it. You don’t do research and you don’t use reference for your models, you have no idea about anatomy so how dare you criticise my female sculpt when the anatomy is spot on.

Okay here is a concept I quickly made of my next character, What do you think of the idea guys ?
