This thread is awesome! Great to see a timelapse of the new lighting and render in ZB4r2. Thank you Katonc.

I made a Vire today from the original Zelda. http://www.zeldawiki.org/images/2/2c/VireLoZArt.png

you guys are incredible! love all your styles and your throwback designs to oldschool cartoons/games/etc. Keep up the amazing inspiring work guys!

Did you render in Zbrush?

Hey Papagers, these are all rendered in zbrush. Then we usually will do some post process in Photoshop for fun. But now with R2 you can do a lot more in zbrush and actually get a pretty amazing render straight out of it.

really cool new stuff

Bryan Wynia; How did you make the holes in the shirt?

jjvdb15; How did you make the pimples on vire?

Great work guys

Katonc got a question with the Zora kid what brush were you using to create the scaley skin… your work and everyone who is participating is amazing very inspiring… keep its up

very beautiful work!
one question: how can you pass through high bub div level to low and back without losing detail in dynamesh?
thank you in advance!

holly cow awesome work .shows you like this and other posts anything you use you imagination to make , you can make. So you guys do this during your lunch time?

good stuff katon

Awesome thread, thanks for sharing your timelapses!
Looks like you’re having a lot of fun with the Zelda theme

I just stamped it with the clay tubes. Jim does the same thing in his Zora video if you watch. But yeah just clay tubes and clicking.

Once we get to a certain point with the shapes we stop dynameshing them. That is how we go up and down, we stop dynamesh.

Brilliant…

This post its amazing ,all the stuff done here are excellent ,personal love the batman part cheers :+1:

You guys are insanely incredible… So inspirational for me!
